City win it off the back of a dodgy corner decision then. Where’s mike?
Dodgy UEFA + dodgy competition + dodgy VAR + dodgy owner + dodgy finance + dodgy fans = Man. City

He’d be captain for a lot of teams by now.

City won it because Pep did all he needed to do... he had enough power on the the bench to ridicule Villa ...... a bit like Lampard tonight. wink

Just got back to digs in Sheffield. Pub near Hillsborough (Old Crown) doesn’t seem to have a closing time cloud9 Game sh!te really but Owls keeper made some good saves... a bit like Villa keeper. But anyway through to next round. Newcastle seem to have a bit of winning formula up front though, could be a tough game up there.

The save from Mendy onto the bar was a cracker - I think it would've been Mendy's first City goal too. The match was the same old story from this season - plenty of good chances missed against a packed defence. A win's a win and we're through so can't complain.

Agree, Newcastle away is a tough game but winnable.
I’d like Derby away or at home as I feel ready to hurl abuse at Tooney again smile

Derby Sunday.
Do you remember the days when it used to occupy your thought for weeks beforehand?
These days it’s not really an important game but it’s still nice to beat them smile
I have to say, having seem them in the league cup semi recently, that despite us losing somehow, they were the worst Utd side I’ve seen in a long time..
Strangely more confident since it’s an away match, I’m going 1-3.

It’s looking like KDB might be back to fitness... whether he starts or not remains to be seen. It’s a fixture that so many of the players relish.. obviously Kun, Silva, Fernandinho... would be nice to see Foden have a look in. Even more recent signings like Bernado & Rodrigo love to get at ‘em , so bring it on. Having said that they (utd) seem to be playing a bit better recently. irked

Has Ederson been taking goal keeping tips from Bravo?
Much improved United team from when I last saw them although we’re our own worst enemy at times

couple of 2/10 performances, which should never win you a derby. perhaps sights are on silverware now?

Painful listening on the radio, I balanced it with ‘ cats do funny things’ on youtube.

united played well considering their limitations. 10/10 for effort meant few openings for the city players to exploit.

strange to think city would play like that in the goater days and sometimes get a result, and that would be the highlight of the season by some chalk.
