Can we talk about thread title change yet?
Champions doesn’t really tell the whole story.
Fourmidables?
Domestic treble winners?
I'll e-mail Big Al...biggrin

I think it's a fellow called Scrump that you need to contact.

Dearest Stuart,
Vinnie did not score goal of the season. That would be the Andros Townsend's wonder left foot volley against your rabble.
I trust we concur in this matter.
I'd have given it to Townsend too but Lineker, Shearer and Wrighty must've thought the context outweighed the technical brilliance. Townsend must be gutted.

But the best players often play for the best teams.... Hence they win more often.
Yes, that will often be the case. But for example this year a lot of commentators said they'd change their vote for player of the season depending who wins the league. In reality it should just be the one they think is the best player, not the one who wins something. Otherwise what's the point, it might as well be "best player in the league's best team award", instead of best player.

Similarly it should be "best goal of the season", not "best good goal that had a big impact on the league winner points tally"

I had the Townsend, Salah and Hazard goals before Kompany's, with Townsend winning.

MOTD voted for most significant goal, that also happened to be a bloody good strike

I wonder if the bbc know that, the banner across the screen said Goal of the season.

Have you contacted the BBC to tell them that they have got it wrong ?

If we’d won the CL this year then I might give it some thought

This Guardiola to Juve rumour just doesn't seem to be going away. My thoughts are that he knows City are going to get banned from the CL and possibly/probably some other punishments and he doesn't want to wait with City for them to be served before he can try to win the CL again with them, so he's leaving now.

Just seen him in his restaurant in Manchester.
The staff had tears in their eyes and he had the Lonely Planet guide to Turin with him.

It's happening.

Id agree but apparently the Journo who wrote this is very respected and was the first to break the Ronaldo to Juve story when it was playing out much like this one.

Would be great if he does leave for Juventus, then he misses Manchester (fk knows why) and comes back to manage United. With him we comfortably win the Championship and he takes us back up to 6th. cloud9

Well I’d rather it be Pep than Poch but I still can’t believe Pep is going to jump ship on City .

I can’t see city getting thrown out of the CL neither , Could you imagine the size of the can of worms that would open ?

Meanwhile other reports have Juve representatives in London to discuss terms with Tottenham/Chelsea for Poch/Sarri.

Silly season is in full swing.

Well I've just seen Sir Alex Ferguson in Portsmouth, I think he's going to start managing them now. Let the rumours begin!
