Can't see either being dropped for next few weeks while we have midweek CL fixtures.
Hoping for an entertaining game later, though suspect Southampton have brought a double decker with them... Setting off soon
PS; Two Tamora owning City fans??? what's the chances of that?? ...at least mine is blue!

In 1967/68 in the Lee/Bell/Summerbee era when we won the league title the average attendance at Maine Road which held 63,000 was under 37,000. (I went to every game)
City will never be able to compete with United for attendance figures, but (imo) the Etihad should be rammed jammed full for every home game. (Obviously some season ticket holders might be on holiday etc)
However the hard core of City fans are among the best in the business, in good times and bad.

hopefully see a bit more of young Phil today. It's going to be interesting to see his rotation policy once everyone is back. would be harsh on Jesus and Torres to be bounced out after their recent form.
There’s talk about Foden playing in the middle now he’s a bit more mature - must be a nightmare picking the team and fitting them all in.Wacky Racer said:

It looked like there were more empty seats in the away fan area on Wednesday night (understandable) than there were in the entire rest of the ground?

that really made you 'lol'? christ, you're duller than you appear.
anyhow, this is where the youth system is really going to start paying off. there's a couple of positions where the squad is starting to look a little thin, and definitely will do when incarceration/retirement kicks in, which could be covered. left back and defensive midfield. very impressed by the lads in those positions and possibly why a left back panic buy didn't happen.

Esteemed Kompany on youtube has been bigging up Romeo Lavia for ages so was good to have a look at him He was EDS player of the season. Only seventeen and he bossed it last night - hopefully Pep will start putting him in for bits of prem matches now maybe next to Rodri or Ferna.anyhow, this is where the youth system is really going to start paying off. there's a couple of positions where the squad is starting to look a little thin, and definitely will do when incarceration/retirement kicks in, which could be covered. left back and defensive midfield. very impressed by the lads in those positions and possibly why a left back panic buy didn't happen.
Him and Cole Palmer already look like they have the calm and assuredness to step in. They all did well though against a physical side - Diaz probably was glad of the night off looking at Akinfenwa
That man mountain Akinfenwa really is a beast of a bloke but he can still move that impressive frame around! Thoroughly deserved his applause, as did the rest of the Wanderers team.
