I never pop on to another teams thread but you played 12 men tonight. That ref was subtly biased all the way through that game.I’m amazed that not more is being made of it post match, stranger things have happened.

And City were down to ten men themselves when they brought Sterling on. He is one of THE most overrrated players to have ever played the game and tonight he stunk the place out. Did his usual Sterling stuff of diving to win free kicks, running up blind alleys & struggling to play a ten yard pass.

Pep could do worse than to sell him ths summer. Like Rashford these days, Sterling is a busted flush!

He's better than Rashford but yeah offered absolutely nothing when he came on.

Yup some really bizarre decisions but not much you can say. Lampards just been charged for his ref comments after the Merseyside derby.

The referee let a few early tackles go for both teams, but he wasn't biased.

I think the commentary team egging on Man City to win and shouting for everything would have influenced viewers. They were going over the top.

I thought Pep got the substitutions wrong tonight. City just aren't the same when KdB doesn't play and didn't have enough on the pitch with him gone once Real equalised.

He certainly was, subtly done at the start, more blatant later on. Conscious or otherwise, but it was there.
I can only hope my team don’t come up against similar tomorrow night.

Thought ref was decent

Not easy to manage a game with RM in, the Sterling booking wasn’t and the shirt pull on Foden should have been a yellow

Other than that he was OK

I can't see what you are.

Laporte could have seen a red for lifting his hands to Modric.

Later on I was very surprised that the referee let Man City take a freekick when nobody was ready. Foden should have done much better.

There was also a blatant dive by Zinchenko that he let go.

The commentary team made a huge deal about the Sterling booking. He was high and went over the top of the ball. That's a yellow every day of the week.

A lot is being made about blowing the final whistle 10 seconds early.

No point crying over spilt milk, over the two legs they scored six and we scored five, no getting away from it.

Just got to go on and win the league now.

I’m not a City supporter so makes not odds to me,but Casemiro should have not even made halftime,he scissor tackled De Bruyne which could have seriously injured him, and rugby tackled Foden to the ground. Both were as blatant yellows as it gets, neither given.Grealish got a yellow for being sandwiched and leant on going for a header and being flattened,Sterling going at the defence was fouled on the edge of the box at the end and nothing given.Nothing in Sterling’s tackle to warrant a yellow compared with Casemiro’s above. It was truly baffling, and added up to more than the sun of its parts.

He made decisions for and against both teams. There was no bias on show. You can say he got a few yellow card decisions wrong, but the big decisions were all fine.

The commentary team have influenced your opinion on the Sterling tackle. You can't go through a player with that force in modern football. His leading foot went over the top of the ball and if the RM player didn't jump to get out the way of the tackle that could have been a serious injury. It's a very clear yellow card and sometimes worse.

I appreciate screenshots don't tell the full story, but I don't have a video.

No the commentary team didn’t influence my thoughts,I couldn’t hear a single word they were saying where I was watching …but thanks for the patronising. If you don’t think that missing two blatant yellows on the same player in the first half and hence reducing them to ten men isn’t tantamount to a big decision then you don’t know football. I don’t know who you support, but I’d assume it’s one of their rivals hence your own prejudices have come into play,or maybe you’ve just played at a low level. I’ll level up the patronising with that.

Why whenever Man City lose do you guys think it's always due to VAR or the Referee?

It's like in Shawshank..."lawyer fked me"

The goals you let in were simple bad marking and bad tackling.

He’s not a City fan but that’s still true. It makes it even funnier when there’s a sense of injustice. biggrin
