91000 really isn’t a bad attendance for a midweek friendly

BBC player rater has Berni about firth or sixth. No idea what match they watched, but he was City's best player today, which is some claim given the hat-trick from the mighty Norwegian Blue.

Sweating a bit there at half time, Palace are a decent side, but we came good in the end with some sloppy defending from them. Haaland is like a tank, players just bounce of him.... tank

I think we are supposed to refer to the player of the match these (ridiculous) days rolleyes

WHU fan here.

From haaland’s first goal I said he would be the top scorer. Looks to be the full package and an absolute animal.

Good job!

Doubt it. Clive Allen and Dixie Dean got hundreds in one season, or ballpark thereof.

Clearly the reference is to the premier league record. Not sure how they are relevant. You can start wibbling about football before the premier league if you like but I wasn’t denying it existed so will be pointless.

P.s. the all time record is 60. Not out of the question if he keeps this up and tuned in with the team more. Ronaldo/Messi sort of numbers

No I’m not a city fan.

Dean scored 60 in one season, which is unlikely to ever be beaten for the top flight, but Clive Allen didn't score more than the PL record of 34, so not sure why he even deserves a mention!
