Really ?

I'm sure we were level with City and Chelsea on 20 points this time last year ?

Pretty sure City had a game in hand at that point.

No. You had a 7 point lead, same number of games played.

It was a seven-point lead I think - then they played each other. Could have gone to 10 or back to four. It was the latter.

Aren't your team playing at the moment?

But you're talking about LFC.

Obsessed.

A terrible result for City, I know it's early days but it could be Liverpool's season, and if so well deserved, they are a very good team.

Pep has some serious work to do, but to be fair, Wolves are a decent side.

Just when everything seems crap you can always rely on Utd to come to the rescue.

Wolves were very good but we’ve got a bit of an injury crisis at the moment which is stopping us being the best team in the league,
With KdB and Sane out we’re lacking creative choice at the front and with LaPorte and Stones unavailable we’re a bit makeshift at the back. It’s this choice which elevates us above the rest imo.

Mind you, it could be worse eh Ole.

Crazy that a club with the resources and structure (Pep, Tziki (sp?), etc) went into the season without proper defensive cover. Surely they know that’s the only danger area.
Walker is hopeless defensively, I still blame him for England going out to Croatia.
Mendy unfortunately is too fragile for the premiership.
Otamendi is a liability.
Hoping that by the time City buy in January we have enough of a lead to hang on by May.

Your 'injury crisis' is a reasonable enough excuse not to win a big game, but doesn't really cut it for wolves at home, especially with your squad.

Didn't see that coming at all.

Liverpool will never have a better chance of winning the PL.
They were in a much better position last year; and blew it.
When?
After 20 games Liverpool had 54 points to City's 47.

Liverpool are 4 points better off than last year. Man City are 4 worse off.

When the gap was there last season Man City were the team in form. At the moment they aren't.

You’d say 8 points is nothing at this stage of the season but the way Man City and Liverpool have competed against each other recently that’s a big lead to concede.

one word gundogan. great when dominating an opponent, but useless against teams like wolves who are up for it. slows every attack he's involved in down and allows their defensive formation to regain shape.

yes, defence is shaky but the forwards should have the firepower to do a 'keegan' if they're given the right service.

Funny how Aguero gets into any team in the prem.

Apart from Man City...
