We were never 0-3 up. At 1-3 you’ve only gotta let a silly mistake goal in and at 2-3 away from home you’re asking for an injury time equaliser.
You’re right on GD though. But there’s a long way to go yet.
Correct - they scored first. Doku’s a winger. Wingers get the ball into the middle. Chelsea were too well organised today for you to pass through them. If he’s going to get the ball out of his feet and whip a cross in, do it! Time and time again, he moved the ball to the right and then didn’t cross it … what a waste - I know it’s not The Pep Way, but with time runnjng out, just get it over! You’re right on GD though. I think our dominance in the matches is going against us. Teams just park the bus and make it extremely difficult by playing so deep as a result.
The goals we score are like tonight’s. On the break counter attack.
Think I’m gonna call pep tomorrow and ask him to give up a bit of possession for parts of the game to let em out for a bit.

i tried, but he started singing a song about catalan independence, coughed a few times and sounded like he fell over. think he's been at the spanish brandy. The goals we score are like tonight’s. On the break counter attack.

On talksport last night it was suggested that teams are paying us to much respect and last night it was true, the penalty area was crammed with their players hoping to then catch us on the break leaving the only chance was long range shots. The goals we score are like tonight’s. It’s not us that are boring, it’s everyone else
Absolutely and like I say, we need to let them out and have a go so that we have some space. Especially at home games.
Away games are not so bad as they emerge out of their own half a bit more and gives us chance to play through them.
The Liverpool and Arsenal games in a few weeks are critical games (proper 6 pointers). I said this last year with the Arsenal game - after which they crumbled) so hopefully it’ll be the same again! Unfortunately the Liverpool game away is first……….it all might be too late by the time we play Arsenal at home again.

Thought there'd be a few more comments on here after last night! What a team you've got there. Haaland's speed off the mark is incredible, he was giving the Luton defenders a head start and just breezing past them. The difference in pace between Alvarez and Haaland was really noticeable and Alvarez is a top player too, shoo-in first pick for any team in the world. Nunes played a blinder as well, incredible awareness and mobility for a big man.
