The ref was mostly excellent tonight apart from missing that foul. He was having none of their play acting and rolling around. It’s not taken Bellingham long to pick it up.

I though Rodzilla had a shocker tonight - dawdling on the ball and getting tackled time after time. His worst game for a years.

ancelotti had dome his homework on rodri and bernardo. they got caught in the turn a few times when twisting and turning, which they get away with week in week out in the PL.

end result was exactly the same as last year's tie. hopefully the same end result!

well that was frustrating and entirely predictable once it got to pens. should have won it inside 90 and half the team absolutely spent with the cup semi at the weekend.
