Keeper did a good pen though to be fair!
Probably the best pen from the team.

I know Haaland went off but quite strange with all that money spent on the team that 5 outfield players weren't able to take penalties.

going out to real madrid on pens having outplayed them over 2 legs, trying to defend the champions league title. been a long road since horlock's 'consolation' goal in the 90th min! mind you, pens went better that day wink

There's not many teams can turn Real Madrid into Athletico Madrid smile

We did the hard work last week and can't have any complaints. You have to win your home games.

I can't believe we couldn't score from one of our 18 corners. KDB had to score that one he put over. Ah well, concentrate on the Double.

So now that financially doped City are out, will it be financially doped PSG or financial "wizards" Real Madrid to win it ?

Now that the dust has settled, gutted, but not the end of the world, Even RM would probably admit we were better than them over two legs.

Anyone can miss a penalty (Except Cole Palmer) biggrin

Onwards and upwards.

could be worse. could have gone out of europe to a team barely known outside their home country, and not the most successful european team in history.

interesting watch. clearly some depleted energy tanks on show, mental and physical. never felt like the jeopardy the real madrid game possessed though.

If Pep can’t deal with the Weds to Saturday with your squad then perhaps he isn’t as good as he thinks he is.

Whinging elite managers and players is boring. You play fewer games than EFL clubs generally and have infinitely more resources.

Maybe the super league should have happened….
