Not quite sure of the correlation between my WB comment and Martians dive but it was no way a penalty.
As much a penalty as many that have been given this season ,the Liverpool one the other week was very similar and that was given ,the refs need to be consistent.

Surely anyone who saw the game saw that perry is by far the worst player on the pitch. Fred is head, shoulders, bks and ankles above Perry. Fred and McT would be “fine” with a decent number 10 ahead of them.
He was dire ,but he was not alone.

Fair point. I would say both are utterly dreadful. It’s like choosing between a kick in the shin and a slap in the face.

The difference is that he’s dire every game.

Yeah a clear dive but Manes was as bad if not worse - embarrassing from both of them

You lot make me laugh.

If you had beaten Bournemouth 3-0 yesterday, Ole would have been the best thing since sliced bread.

It's not his fault he inherited journeymen and chancers.

Stick with him and stop taking the piss.

Yeah he got too close and King turned him, it was a classy goal but WB had a a touch of the 'Lovrens' there imo.
Has WB also found Shaw's and Lukaku's secret Toblerone stash? He's looking rather pudgy.

I'd be more inclined to believe a good manager would get a tune out of our squad (Mourinho doesn't look too bad in hindsight...) than the heinous allegation that our manager actually knows what he's doing.

That Gomes injury horrific ,takes me back to David buust injury many moons ago.
Anyway I’ve not seen the tackle and it sounds unfortunate but am I right in saying it was son who did a truly horrific tackle on Valencia a few years back which put Valencia our for a season ?

The Gomez one was bad. I feel for Son, there was no intent to injure but it was a cynical challenge. That then led to a clumsy stamp on an already twisting ankle from Aurier. It’s a tough watch. I’ve had similar playing rugby. It fking hurts!

Valencia was against rangers.

Well I'm not sure about that but it would have helped to give us confidence which we are lacking in him. But it was also unlikely we wouldn't trip up again in the short term. We're a bit sporadic at the moment but hopefully consistency will come.

We all have different opinions but I’m still right behind Ole. I’ve said before we’ve fallen so far behind it was only a fan favourite that fans would be patient with while we get our act together.

What’s amusing is most said he’ll get time to turn it around and it won’t be overnight then whinge when it takes time.

Yep. He’s inherited a pretty st squad of overpaid players. Give him next summer (assuming Ed backs him) and then see where we are at the end of next season. Can’t judge him on what he’s got now as they’re not good enough.
