I wasn’t having a pop at you. I remember the dog’s abuse we got very well. Having said that we were away for a lot longer than Liverpool. IIRC we missed the whole of the Christmas fixtures and the first week of Jan, so the first round (for us anyway) of the FA Cup. Liverpool shouldn’t have been opted out of a cup that they could easily have been knocked out of earlier. They’re only missing one round of PL matches, so hardly a disaster. I still don’t see what the problem is in playing kids, we’ve just done it in the Europa League, our Carabao Cup teams have been the second string with some kids thrown in and will no doubt do it again. k should I know? It is terrible. We must have 75% of the ball and are camped on the edge of their area. From there we have absolutely no idea what to do. Rashford’s shots are more likely to go out for a throw than score. 1 shot on target in first 20 minutes.

Perfect proof, if it were needed, that we are incapable of breaking down lesser teams. I fully expect them to break and score first.

80% possession all on the edge of their area and only 9 shots and only 1 on target. Piss poor.
It’s like watching the same gif over and over. The ball just goes side to side and then gets chipped in nowhere near a United player for a goal kick.
