Bizarre that Rashford didn’t take the penalty.

Happy enough with that as an improving performance. We would have lost that last season and if not for greedy pogba might have won. Some good play, wolves play a tidy game too.

About right for me. You've improved enormously over last season, you've spent well in areas where you were weak but you didn't create enough when you were on top. Wan Bissaka looks a hell of a signing.

Real issue in the midfield in the form of a lanky sideways passing turd imo.

Not sure that PP did too much wrong with the Pen, was well hit, maybe at a good height for the keeper

James looks brilliant although some growing to do

All in all positive albeit a draw, we look better than last season and think we'll improve.

Not sure on Jesse though

Fair comments. We are a couple short yet (develop or buy) from having a quality attacking pressing team with a strong defense.

Fair post all round. AWB or Young at RB? Hmm... he’s brilliant!

Young/jones/smalling/rojo etc all likely to be bit part players now covering for injury or in league cup type games. They will help when we need to rest Harry and Obi

Good game overall, fair result but I think Wolves had a easy ride tonight.

You looked half decent at times, but toothless up front. Two shots on target all game, and only one after wolves drew level (the penalty) says it all really.

Mason Greenwood
He needs to be given time on the pitch. Could come very very good for us.

I was definitely a little put out that he only came on in the 89th minute. Tony M was quite ineffective in the 2nd half so I’d have expected a swap around the hour mark. It might have given them something to think about instead of attacking with all guns blazing.

Interesting point. Toothless upfront/? Crosses that don’t find a man don’t feature in normal stats but a good cross is key to a fair few goals. We were lively on the wings and looked good. Spurs had two shots on target yesterday.....

Enjoyable game

Lots of chat on Sky about the Penalty taker....and I can't (still) help but think Pogba would be better off elsewhere

We also had by far best of possession etc. Early days but promising.

Not seen any stats, so wont comment (is that an oxymoron, contradicting myself, arguing with myself) but I'll wager we're working harder and running more than last season. We were winning a lot more 50:50 battles.
