Mata in that 10 role is still filthy though. He's by far our most creative player.
He may not be fast but he is real class on the ball. I'd put him ahead of anyone in our team for skill on the ball.

The coolest guy in the premier league ,but he never reached the level for us that he did for Chelsea (mind you he wasn’t stuck out on the right wing at Chelsea)

His lack of pace and strength have hampered him as the game became faster .

He’s an absolute gent, too. Fantastic player in many ways, but hard to pick someone so slow and weak except against sides that will let us have the ball.

Good luck to him. Wound me up at times but nobody can question his commitment to the club and he always gave his best. Can’t blame him for wanting a final year abroad and it’s a huge wage off our bill. Ole clearing out more players smile

Harry new club captain,

The baby faced assasin has moved on quite a load of players, probably could argue that its the first real 'transition' we have had. Wish he kept Fellaini though.

I think thats one of his remits to cull the deadwood in the team and bad eggs. Done a good job so far, although there is still a few to go.

Rojo & Jones next please with Lingard probably to follow once midfield numbers are bolstered. The big one is getting Pogba out for a decent price though with his disruptive antics on display. I might be wrong but I thought his contract expires in 2022 so the value's going to start falling even further than it is now.

Someone will get a tune out of Lingard, a team like Everton.

Finally got rid of Ashley Young I am so happy that he will never step foot on a pitch for us again.

Really? Never the greatest winger and in latter-days not the greatest fullback but always gave 100% and had the f-you attitude when needed. Over the past couple of years I've always been pleased to see his name in the LB position instead of Shaw's.
Good lad, hope the swansong works out in Italy.
