Wolves are a very competent side.
Thats as may be but we need to put these games to bed to show real progress.A draw there isn’t bad but it screams “not a top 4 team yet” to me. Nicking these games by the odd goal is what I expect Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea (to a lesser extent) to do this season.
It’s a promising start.

It’s a start but judgement should be reserved in my opinion.
At least relegation is looking further away

Just remember this is a season or two development minimum. Lots of players need to be let go now or move on to free up space and cash for one or two genuine world class midfield or attacking options.
I think we will see Darmian, Rojo & Sanchez leave this window. Smalling & maybe Jones next summer.Big year for Pereira too or he could be looked at shipping out next summer imo.
LOT of money saved there...maybe 7/8 hundred K a week!

How much was the Chelsea result down to their regression as much as any improvement by us?

Fair point and if Kante had started it would’ve been close. It’s a start but judgement should be reserved in my opinion.

If we are on the up we should be dispatching Palace on Saturday comfortably.
We looked really good in the first half last night. James is a real prospect and martial looks a new player.

Interestingly Axel has been on the bench ahead of all other options so far. No future for the others for me. Possibly jones but I know I’ll be alone on that one.Big year for Pereira too or he could be looked at shipping out next summer imo.

Dalot has vanished....strange that one
Dalot failed to have much impact and to adapt to the prem. Is he even getting reserve games does anyone know? Looked promising at first.
Interesting article to read about tactical fouling. Worst culprits...... place your guesses..

Hope you're right about Martial.
He still looks extremely cantankerous, the miserable fk.
What suprised me is how small he is in real life. He looks quite "big" on tv and muscular, we were sat behind him when he was injured last year and he's fairly slim, stats say he's 5ft 11 but he doesn't look it. He did seem quite smiley and happy tho :-)He still looks extremely cantankerous, the miserable fk.
Having seen the player solidarity on twitter, they (Man Utd players) should do as Pip Neville says and remove themselves from all social media for six months. The lost traffic will force the likes of Twitter to take action, whether that be account verification or helping take users to court for their stupid racist rants.
Only issue, image rights and self-advertisement are so intertwined in players contracts that clubs and sports companies would have to 'play ball'; but why wouldn't they, racism just isn't acceptable.
You may not get this from my posts but I don't like Pogba - he's not traditionally good at football, he's pretty toxic personally but what he has to see on social media makes me shudder. Just because he earns XXX and is universally recognised and (mostly) revered doesn't mean he has the personal skills to deal with this tripe - who knows what is going on in his head this morning? He missed a penalty - people do - and you could see no-one was more disappointed than him.
Last thing - these situations demand that you identify the real supporters (which everyone on here is) from idiots from wherever with a Man U/Liverpool/Burnley/Forres Mechanics crest on their Twitter page, spouting st without any filter on their language. These people are not real supporters

Pep cheats ? Never ,I refuse to believe that a man caught twice for using steroids ,and who has employed the biggest drug cheating dr in the world of sport would ever deliberately tell his team to tactical foul ,I mean apart from everyone at Barca revealing the ‘6 second rule’ and the City coaches telling them to commit tactical fouls in the training session shown on that documentary ,and the statistical evidence ..what evidence is there ?Interesting article to read about tactical fouling. And certainly it wouldn’t be accepted at a club like City with their owners who have shown nothing but strict application of the football laws since they took over.
