Can’t believe we are not in for Cavani if he’s looking to leave. No brainer given the injury to Rashford. Fergie did similar with Larson.
Was that not a short term loan?
Surely Cavani is going to want a big 2 Yr contract on big money, something you're trying to get away from? (players with best years behind them on huge contracts)

Why not try for Werner or someone similar

Werner will have the pick of Champions League clubs when/if he leaves.

Surprised there wasn't more talk about Ibra returning to OT for a short term spell. Or more effort to get Haaland.

Haaland was the obvs one
His fee was that low didn't matter if agent wanted 30m..

You're prob right on Werner might not be guaranteed starter though and may want that, which UTD could offer

Grow up, it's not under 17's football, it's up to the ref./VAR to decide.
Guess I don't need to grow up after all.

When you make multiple accounts to avoid a ban then yeah, maybe you still should
And then comeback to try and prove a point days later on a pointless football forum. Yep I’m in the growing up camp.

Sort term could hit the ground running if not I’m not interested. I doubt the club would be either. No harm in asking though.

Indeed, just not sure he is what u need
Anothe fat salary, end of best years, would want 2 yrs min, injury prone etc

Wait till summer and get number 1 target rather than wasting 25m contract on him..

That's the gamble, do we write this season and top 4 off or get someone in?

Not having that he was 15m agent could charge 15m and he's still a bargain, pretty sure most were happy to pay 70m for him..

If the agent is letting u know about a cheaper option of getting him then who care if he makes more money.

15m + 5 or 10m to him is still a bargain for that player
You’re not having that ?
Well that sorts that then .

Seriously I agree that he was a bargain ,and maybe he decided the bundesliga would be an easier step (certainly currently more interesting ),but do you not think after the crap with pogba and the games he’s played that United want to deal with such a grade ‘A
Leech ?
Literally the second United said they don’t want to deal with him he comes out attacking the club ,then haland gets transferred .

If he never wanted to join united why did they have meetings ? Why did it break down when Raiola got involved if what I am saying isn’t correct ?

Doesn't Man Utd lose £20m from their Adidas sponsorship alone for not making the top 4?

It'll be even more harmful with no Champions League football and the further harm to the club's standing.
I think I made that point albeit in a more general manner.

Your having a laugh!
Ole ain’t going to walk,he knows that he will never manage a team anywhere near the size of United.

As I said, that's not quite all of it though. If we do write off this season and top 4 and then fail to even achieve Europa, we'll not attract anyone of any great quality so will effectively be writing off next season too. It was always going to be a slow building process to improve over a few summer windows at best but to just do nothing now we've had the injuries could be a backwards step.
I know Cavani would be an expensive fitness gamble at £25m plus another £20m wages and any other established name is going against our admirable recruitment policies but it's hard to see what else we could do in the next two weeks. We really do need a proven striker and that still won't change even when Rash gets back because Martial's just not the answer.

Our club is fking shockingly run.

Ole would make himself an even bigger legend by sticking two fingers up whilst opening up about how poor the club is run and Ed Woodward is a fking wker.

This, in spades.
We could have paid £40m, put him on a 4 year fairly large contract, watched him progress for 18 months and then had the whole Pogba-style circus again of 'wanting a new challenge' , 'not ruling out a move to Barca / Real / Juve in the future' and 'dreaming of playing for Pep / Klopp one day'...
Ratola does this repeatedly - get a big wedge for 'facilitating the deal' and immediately start plotting how he can get the player either a new bumper deal or moved on for another big payday.

You have to get top four IMO. Failure to get top four again and it just cements the notion that Utd are no longer consistent Champions League participants and makes recruitment even more difficult than it already is and thus any rebuild longer and harder.

Playing the man not the ball. You must get that from that overpriced waste of space Maguire. rofl

The more you profess that I'm hornetrider the more stupid you look, so by all means carry on.

And you two siding with DeltonaS is hilariously two faced. He's always having a pop at Utd. rofl Hypocrites.

Nothing to say about the actual incident you're being charged with? I'll leave you to it then.

Good luck scrapping over 6th and qualifying for Europe.

I can see what you're saying but do you think Pogba would be getting spoke about moving if your club was competing for the top position or champs league? I dont for 1 minute, so if he is trying to find him a new club at this present time can you blame him.
If he had gone to you and you had been doing great why would anyone want to leave 1 of the biggest clubs in the world who is competing, new contract maybe but thats expected with anyone.
15M + Riola fee is a bargain no matter what happens in 4 years

Why on earth would you not be looking at the hottest striking prospect in European football that can be had for 15m when everyone knows you want a striker - crazy to think you wasn't.

Not signing him for 25m (with fee) then going after someone like Cavani and paying him 250k a week in the final years of his career is exactly whats fked you up these last few years.
We had to pay 75m for VVD - 25m of that was something we really didnt want to have to pay but had to as we fked up... I very much doubt we look at that 25m now and worry about it.
In 4 years if Haaland carries on as he is he will be worth 150m + so even if he did go you would not have done to bad out of him.

I just think missing out him is a big loss for you guys he was exactly what you needed and would have probably got you top 4 coming in Jan with how Chelsea are faltering.

I very much hope we look at it, and don't do anything so stupid in the future (tapping up and paying for it)

Agree even at 75 he was an absolute bargain

Pretty sure we learnt our lesson from that, I also remember Klopp coming out not so long ago and saying he doesnt have to go to anyone anymore they are coming to him...
