Anyone seen the videos of Lingard and Pereira messing about during training? I'm all for the players having a laugh but when your place in the squad is already precarious due to doing pretty much nothing to help the team, the last thing you should be doing is fking handstands over the ball. Neither of them have done anything for a couple of seasons now and Bruno is highlighting just how poor they are. They will both be gone in summer imo.
You’re st so go over to the corner and be miserable? Bit grumpy for me GTO. By all accounts the mood in the camp is as positive as it’s been for years and should be encouraged. These guys are under huge pressure to perform the fun police approach under Jose only delivered for a season. Let ‘em express themselves I say!

Lingard hasn’t signed with Riola to negotiate a rise has he? He’s actually a really good footballer but really good doesn’t cut it if we want to improve so he’ll either step up but more than likely move on and do excellently elsewhere with no presssure on his shoulders.

They have been poor, I agree. You do have to see the pictures in context though; are they on a break, is it in their own time and have they hung around to train on into the late afternoon?
Lingard was a decent prospect, but his demise has coincided with the poor performances by the team and club.
With regard to Bruno, he does look good but there is a way to go to see how much real impact he will have.
fk me. That’s twice in the space of a minute that I’ve agreed with you. I suspect I may have COVID 19.
Considering donating my body to the ocean because this also keeps happening with me and it's weird.
It's called cognitive evolution chaps. wink

So, if Solksjaer gets us to fourth, wins the Europa or FA Cup (would love both cups but can't see our squad maintaining a push on three fronts) is that better than either of Mourinho's seasons? (6th, Europa & League Cup/ 2nd no trophies)

Personally I think the club is a lot brighter than it has been since Ferguson departed. Can't wait to see the potential link up between Rashford & Bruno.

You can’t argue with the Europa league and league cup. That was a good start for Jose. If Ole wins the Europa league and nets top 4 he’s obviously surpassed it. Inter Milan might have something to say about that though.,

4th is there for the taking. That would surpass my expectations given the injuries we’ve had. I’m looking forward to a positive run in, if we go o. a run there’s momentum there to build on for next season. If we get into the champions league then all the ste about not being a draw for top players goes away and hopefully another 2 or 3 Bruno level players arrive.

Fourth would be a hell of an achievement taking into account the general malaise at the club.

He’s done the best transfer business since fergy left ,3 or 4 really good signings in the summer and clearing the rubbish out and we may have a team again .
The club has the best atmosphere since fergy left ,there are things to be positive about .

Some rubbish and some great players who were just past there best and who were never going to be part of the future build.

Bit grumpy maybe but as I said, i've no issue with the players having a laugh and by all accounts the vibe in the camp is a very good one which is great to see after a few years of misery. Them two of all the players should be knuckling down and not dicking about though. Don't know when the video was taken but maybe it's the reason why they were both dropped last weekend?

I think they were dropped for being st!!!!

Anyway game day. Can’t see these to starting tonight.

I anticipate the Bruno love affair to reach further heights tonight. Comprehensive victory then on to Everton Sunday

I think he'll make changes again tonight, hoping the home advantage will see us through, prioritising the Everton game. I think McTominay might start to get an hour or so of match sharpness and maybe won't see Bruno or Fred unless we are chasing it later in the second half.

Providing we progress I'd love to play Rangers at some point and fancy our chances against Inter if we both made it to the final, not sure over two legs.

I'd like to see him start a strong team to try and get a few goals up and then bring them off. Always too much pressure especially if we find ourselves a goal down!

Yeah I agree. I remember SAF saying in the run in to the treble how important it was to keep our best players in form and using them often, seem to remember him saying he regretted resting players in 2011 before Barca when we'd already won the league too.

If we came out on song we could (big could with us this year!) be three up by half time.

McTominay and Fred picking up where they left off. They’re much better together than Matic and Fred. They both have far more energy and we look more dynamic. McT picking passes out forwards which is something Matic doesn’t do!

What a bizarre situation. Whether Mignolet would have saved it or not, he still purposefully hand balled it. You can’t possibly predict if Mignolet would have saved it!

Yeah that's absolutely ridiculous. You deliberately handball it to stop a potential goal you get sent off, that's always been the case.
