I reckon they’ll get it reduced to one year, so it’s potentially 3 from 4. Wouldn’t want to be the one that misses out.
July 13th for the city decision. It’ll go down to a year or be a fine.

The harder you work the luckier you get - some golfer said that I think. Two results last night that, on the face of it are lucky for you, but you had to first put the hard yards in against teams like Brighton.
It's going to the wire I reckon, especially if Wolves maintain their momentum.

A fine would make sense; it follows the theme of money grabbing over justice by the powers that be.

Wolves vs Chelsea and Leicester vs United make the last day potentially remarkably interesting in this snooze fest of a season .

Yeah, I'd be very surprised if City aren't in the Champions League next season. It would also be nice to get in there on merit rather than sneaking through the back door. Nice that it's back in our hands. I know it's not where we want to be but isn't it lovely to be in form and hunting teams down again? Evokes memories of Newcastle in '96.

I don't think we'll take all the points in the run in, someone always surprises you but on last night's display I don't think Chelsea and Leicester will either. I think the Europa League is there for the taking, only really Inter and Wolves to threaten us and we know all to well that Lukaku doesn't often turn up for the big games.

One man's snooze fest is another man's pivotal moment; you've been there. Ganted though, we had over 100 days to kip before the restart

I’ve enjoyed seeing united improve but I think for most neutrals it’s been a bit boring. The title was done and dusted months ago ,until recently the top
Four looked like it was as well ,and the relegation candidates were obvious .

It's not full time yet obviously but Spurs are being well and truly Mourinho'd which is quite funny to see.

FA cup final with City v Utd as the two form teams?
City will take some stopping by look of it.

Obv a wind up...... surely. Almost as bad as Bournemouth fans saying time for EH to go ffs.

Just looking at stats since we got Bruno in the team... scored 38 conceded 4. Same period Liverpool Scored 29 conceded 19..

Still I don't claim to be as good as Liverpool blah blah but the amount of Liverpool fans that I know that say how far away we are from Liverpool just has no substance. We had no Pogba and Rashford for most of season (the 2 who create and score the goals!) Lost same amount of games as City etc etc

If we can sign Sancho and a decent CB surely we can push next season?!

Wind up? You think? rofl

Looking at the last 10 matches isn’t really an accurate guide, as Liverpool were trying to get over the line and the pressure must have been high. Equally United had that walloping of Lask in their favour (assuming you’re counting Europa League). Stats don’t really mean anything unless you look at the whole season. That’s not to say that there isn’t potential here, there’s lots of it, it it needs to be put together in a sustained, consistent run for a large part of the season. What’s been seen since Bruno arrived is very, very positive, especially the last few games with the link up with Pogba. Only note of caution is that United remain the team that everyone wants to beat, alongside whoever are champions at the time and that will continue when crowds are back at away matches making it a bit tougher.

But equally you cant look at the whole season to view our PROGRESS?? New players in at the start, key ones missing for a majority of it first new season with new manager... etc. Current full fit team is only way to compare our potential surely?? I mean Klopps first season of building a great Liverpool side you came 8th!!

We have beaten Chelsea 4 times, done the double over City and a perfect Liverpool team drew 1 and won 1 against a weak united team.
Yet we are still many players off competing for title again seemingly. I get you all Hate us passionately but just look at the facts and figures.

At the start we have dropped points against very poor sides.... I can't see that happening now with our squad.

I’m not a f*****g scouser.

My point was that yes we’re progressing, there’s no denying that and I don’t want to. However, Liverpool aren’t regressing. Yet. I thoroughly enjoyed their walloping last night, I really enjoyed Klopp’s almost Keeganesque response. There’s scope for that to be exploited next season when things don’t go all his own way. It will need someone a bit more skilled than Ole to really exploit it though.

Winning the title is a lot easier than retaining it. Let’s see how Liverpool get on when teams actually try to beat them, as it’s a scalp worth having now.

United currently are in the top 3 teams in the PL based on very recent results, arguably the top team, but it’s easy when there’s no real pressure. First 10 games next year will see how well they’ve progressed, assuming there are crowds back by then.
