Pogba's shadow looms large over United. He is United's Ozil. Plays well when he can be arsed. You get the impression with him, he believes in his own hype.

Ole seems determined to build a team around him. IMO his presence will continue to hold United back next season. Which I don't mind.
Don't agree at all with Pogba of late, he's been a different player on the pitch and off it too with his social media posts. He looks 100% committed to the club and has played very well since the restart but last night he looked tired, as did Bruno. It's always easy to lay blame at Pogba but he's been out since September last year and is having to find fitness during a difficult period.

Fifthcester United.

He’s also been our best player in c. 80% of games since he came to the club. Absolute opposite of Ozil who is often the worst player on the pitch.

Pogba is a tit and played badly yesterday, but we would have been flirting with relegation without him. I exaggerate but only slightly. He’s carried the team for months at times.

No way was that equaliser De Gea’s fault.

I agree. I blamed him without even watching the replays.

Mental. You'd have been flirting with relegation if it wasn't for players like MacTominay, Rashford, Williams and those who break their necks for the shirt want to play for the club - if you call 11-13th flirting with relegation.
He hasn't carried anything - he probably has a 'man' to do any carrying work.

Bruno looked tired last night I thought, Pogba also, it looked less like his attitude last night and more just slow on the ball at times

I think we are in with a shout of 4th due to McTom, Fred and Bruno, not sure PP can lay any claim to that seeing as he's been out injured or had a bad attitude for a lot of the season, he appears to be knuckling down for now so lets see

Last night was an example of why we are looking at ttsocks Grealish, we do tend to sit on the back foot with PP and Bruno off the pitch

The front three have been getting some nice deserved praises but still we are missing chances that should be put away. This is one of the main differences between us and City/Liverpool. No way do they miss that Rashford chance (two open goals since the restart now). Martials first one on one as well. That and we can’t defend set pieces.

Then we have our playing from the back stuff, we should nip that in the bud from now as well. We should just about scrape in the top 4, but if we play like this against Palace, we will come unstuck again. The team needs a change up, and if we are going to sit back Ighalo should be on to hold up the ball up top, not James who loses possession every time.

James is a trier but he’s also not very good at football. He’s had more than enough chances.

Disagree, the issue is the defence and keeper make stupid mistakes repeatedly that cost us games .
Liverpool don’t make such mistakes and if they do they are rare and that’s why they walked the league .

Think we need a new defender imo, and tbh I don't think Harry is in the same league as Rio/Vidic were back in the day.

Frustrating. We went one down and then went into full attack mode, got 2 back and then just stopped. Southampton saw their opportunity and took it. No, one player is to blame.

Pogba is very good generally but he's big and slow and gangly and quick players take advantage of that. Despite his 2 errors in the first half he was ok for the rest of it.

I can only think of Van dick is the only centre half around at that level to be fair .
Wan bissaka is probably the best tackler in the league but his positioning is suspect ,hm needs a very quick mobile centre half alongside him ,and the keeper is for me an issue ,he makes too many costly mistakes .
The pass to pogba last night was awful ,pogba was asleep but de Gea should never had made that pass to him

They are a high benchmark to be fair.

Bruno and PP looked knackered to me.
I think we should have been using the squad a bit more.
There's no rest now and the important games coming up.

I think VVD is on target to be regarded as the best defender to play in the Premier League era.

We will see. You'll never see him climbing out of a toilet window to avoid the piss testers.

If you are talking about in Premier League history...I am not even sure he makes the Top 10!

Probably the best at the moment though, that's a given.
