Glad someone else thought that. All the abuse the man gets at times, this isn't the first time he's pulled off a masterclass. The team let him down at times and he gets the flack but at certain times they remember they can really play.

Fred, AWB and especially Tuanzebe were immense tonight. Considering that Tuanzebe hasn’t played in 10 months and then to perform like that against MBappe and Neymar was outstanding. If he can stay fit then he’s the best defender we’ve got.

Agreed that the 5-2-1-2 was great for tonight and really nullified their threat even if it seriously blunts our own. It’s easy to see what could change too, just push Telles on up the left or put MG or EC on instead.

Fantastic performance tonight. Defence and Midfield looked solid and work rate was fantastic. As much as Matic is a good servant to the club we just look more solid with mobility and work rate in the middle of the park.

I was concerned when Pogba came on, but looked much better higher up the pitch, showed good strength and looked to take players on.

Has he had actual abuse - probably less abuse for the last two seasons of gaffes than Pickford has had for his one ridiculous 'tackle'. He's definitely not had fans at his front door burning effigies etc.
