I fancy us 2-1 as well but could equally be 6-6 the way this season has been so far biggrin

I too would go with the same line up as PSG (barring Martial obvs) so Fred and McT can stop them from playing in and around our third but we still have great attacking potential going forward. Cavani will have been licking his lips at some of them Telles crosses coming in the other night.

VdB to settle in ?

Besides Bruno why should VdB settle in among a very mediocre midfield, a midfield where he doesn't fit in. He's becoming Ole's regular 88 min. sub.

The reality is United shouldn't have bought VdB, because they need improvement somewhere else. VdB is there to cover up the lacklustre performance in the transfer window.

United is an ackward, mismanaged club.

Although seemingly better managed than PSG?

DVB will get many games this season. We need good rotation and cover with top players. Season has barely even started!

Considering his purchase price I think it was a great buy even if it wasn’t in an area we are weak in.
Agree he will get plenty of games this season. We struggled with the lack of squad last year and players running on empty. We pretty much flogged Bruno to death in the end. If we want to do well this year in the league and in europe we need to have a squad to rotate.

Will be interesting to see how we set-up with VdB? He looks very good in the few mins i have seen him play. Would he play as part of a 2 holding, or interchange with Bruno?

Given the last result and Pogba on the branch Ole can’t really be criticised for his recent team selections. Just a shame it took a spanking from the Spuds to make him realise

Do you think the penny will stay dropped though? Has there been a more general realisation within the club that Pogba's not all he's cracked up to be?

Chelsea will be telling; I hope he doesn't revert to starting Pogba after a couple of decent showings as a sub.

Maybe he should play him in the forward role which he actually plays rather than this deep cdm role Mourinho forced on him.

Its like trying to put rashford in left back and wondering why he isnt very good there.

Nice to see Ole backing Mason 100% about the nonsense written this week.

Let’s hope he’s fired up to give it to Chelsea tomorrow night.

Pellistri makes his debut for U23’s tonight, i might a glance at that later.

Indeed, he’s been named in the champs league squad so we must be expecting he’ll have an impact on the first at some stage.

Let’s hope he’s not another Obertan

12 million we signed him for wasn't it?

I remember he had buck teeth and stupid little blonde highlights, I think from memory we hadn't had a great run of signings either, was such a debut

I’m also a 3-1 regular but typically go for United to come from behind and win rather than HT/FT because I was burnt a few times by an equalizer just before the break.

Good tip that thumbup the other problem with HT/FT is no cash out option.
I usually do HT/FT on both teams so that anything other than a draw at half time keeps one bet alive and me interested wink
