There is no chance Ole is getting sacked. If united are so st how do you explain today’s result? Ref? Old Trafford’s bias?

Yep that slayed me. I’m in agony. You boys couldn’t even dispatch the st outfit that is pretending to be Manchester United.

Souness got it right I think - he said our midfield is really hardworking but with TAA and Robbo nullified, our midfield didn't have any guile to open Utd up. Hard working for sure but they just didn't have the creativity. The 3 subs ultimately all had a bit of that.
Really? No sh!t Sherlock. I have been saying it for years. Our midfield is bland at best with no general in the middle running things. Rewind the clock back a couple of seasons when teams would put 10 men behind the ball, it reminded me of those games when we had no idea of how to break those teams down. #TBT
Would we be speaking about a midfield creator if Salah was playing?
Mane has chipped in in the middle a lot.

Keita and Ox are meant to be players who can create and play in the 10 role, Keita more box to box but definitely Ox as a playmaker.

Both have been injured. That’s probably why you didn’t see a £50m number 10 bought in the summer.

Really Jammy? Which games against Utd have been exactly the same after an international break?

I agree in hindsight though anyone would miss an attacking middle midfielder. We all need options. I’m not sure livestock is the answer though.

It’s just banter though you guys can take it can’t you?
I think it was two seasons ago. Though it was an Anfield - I think Jose's second time with Utd at Anfield (2nd season). He set up the team just to disrupt us and stop us playing, rather than playing to win. We were really poor on the night (I think it was a Monday night game) and it ended up being a really dull 0-0 draw.

At least the game today had some goals!

Not sure if Salah was playing, the game would have been any different. They chopped the head off the beast by nullifying Robertson and TAA. We had no one to take up the reins through the middle. Klopp should have realised that much earlier and changed it up to be a bit more attacking through the midfield. Ox and Keita need game time to get match fitness up; but this is the type of game we missed someone who can drive game to the opposition.

Calm down... anyone would think that you got 3 points today laugh . You didnt, you got a point at home with all the decisions going against liverpool. A point against a very poor performing liverpool side today. Well done on getting a draw in your cup final today laugh

Pleased you think he wont be getting sacked.. longer he stays, the better!!

I don’t think either of us really care! I love the rivalry when you were ace we were a thorn in your side and it’s been vice-versa since Utd took over. As true fans we both know it’s the league that matters, the few inflatable 6’s in the away end today felt tacky but there wasn’t any Munich or murderers chanting.

I took a friends 10 year old with us today. He is now utterly hooked on football. It’s a special special game.

If Salah was playing we would have been more of a threat. Midfielders would have been able to sit in midfield preventing counters letting our wingbacks do what they normally do and let Salah and Mane come inside linking with Firmino.

Good job we didn't lose today, Utd are officially back now after holding us to a draw.

In all seriousness I can't get my head around how blasé they are when it comes to the form they're in under Ole.

They're in real danger of going down.

Someone on sky mentioned relegation this morning and the others laughed and dismissed it.

If I was a utd fan I wouldn't be laughing.

Anyway, a win away at Genk and 3 points at home to spurs will make this a good week for us. Let's hope it goes our way.

Can’t really tell what those lines mean but we are obviously going to have more attacking action when a) Utd tired b) Utd retreat to defend their lead c) we got increasingly impatient and threw caution to the wind a little

Not sure you can credit that just to Keita (who did nothing much wrong)

You clearly have no idea how much united fans loath Atkinson. He cost united a premier league with a st decision to let Chelsea win. Ref wasn’t an issue.

You got a bloody nose from United today. You were gifted an equaliser. Its Unbelievable where united are right now but you were only missing Salah today. United were at bare bones. It was far from their cup final as some joker has suggested.
You dropped 2 points you can not afford to. To a team just above the relegation zone.

Is this where the rot starts?
That is extra special laughlaugh

No that's normal. What isn't is being 15 points ahead of Utd after 9 games. Now that's strange times.

Some other observations for yesterdays game:

- Absolutely loved it how the wall of Van Dijk and Fabinho saw Daniel James bounce of them both and left him rolling around like a little boy looking for his mum who hurt his big toe.

- The usual Martin Tyler United jizz fest when Rashford scores but then sounding like his dog died when Lallana equalises, offering up a candle of hope that at least he can get his career back on track.
