Coutinho hasn't played well for a while, faked injury twice to force a move and doesn't fit into our current system.
He was a confidence player when we got him and he is still one now. Difference is we don't have the need to give him time to bed in and to potentially disrupt the dressing room of he comes back and it doesn't go right or he doesn't play.
He doesn't make our first eleven at the minute. He's not the right player for our midfield and he doesn't get ahead of the front three.
I'd leave him where he is and go get someone who is younger.

I dont really follow liverpool signings, but im lead to believe that you didnt sign anyone this season (so far), you worried that you might have a Spurs scenario next season?
100% notSpurs this year is a follow on from last. I think they are 8 or 9th over a 38 game calender year period,
Players wanting to leave, players on final year's of the contract, management and ceo not singing from the same hymn sheet.
We couldn't be any further apart

Nope. Good team spirit etc. We also did some big buys just before. It’s more a problem when buying no one for several windows in a row. And when the players give up. We were good/lucky enough to win CL, so that will be a big bonus for keeping the players fighting for more. I think problem with Spurs is players and managers have stopped believing they can improve now. m3sye said:
From here until Boxing Day, we have Palace (a), Brighton (h), Everton (h), Bournemouth (a) and Watford (h)..."
How many expected points?
I am going large and saying 13 or 15
Fatigue, injuries and var will have a large say in that especially in late December. Palace away tends to be tough, Everton at home won't be easy (see last season), Bournemouth at their place can cause an upset quite easily. How many expected points?

When you start mentally adding up phantom points is when it usually starts to go wrong.

The Anfield mantra - "1 game at a time". I'll stick with that I think. The wheels could easily come off anytime so I'll just enjoy each game as it comes. When you start mentally adding up phantom points is when it usually starts to go wrong.

Spurs sack poch saying it's a run of bad results at the end of last season and the form Thai season that did it.
Two months ago I was called an idiot for saying if the run continued he'd be fked. I was told their run wasn't so bad. Er it was.
Poch pays the price for the club's policies on transfers, wages etc IMO. They will do well to get someone as capable. Two months ago I was called an idiot for saying if the run continued he'd be fked. I was told their run wasn't so bad. Er it was.
Poch off to Bayern?
