I'm also 36 and Italia 90 was my earliest football memory, I can also relate to growing up watching UTD win everything laugh
I'm 52 and remember the good old days when Liverpool were the dominant team in domestic and European competition. It feels good to see the signs of it returning. wink

Slightly older and yeah it feels good seeing us finally look like we could get back to that level smile

Quick story from Italia 90. England v Germany semi was on the same night me and my first wife had tickets for the Rolling Stones at Wembley. Not being a fan myself, I had a portable radio pressed to my ear for the whole gig listening to the match! I can't have been the only one because when Lineker equalised, the stadium erupted mid way through a song hehe

Have to say I am surprised we are only 4 points better off than last season!

The league between 5th and 15th place is crazy. Just 3 points separates them.

Or scored 5 more goals when plying harder teams with our front line not firing shoot

Add in a few defensive errors while getting more points. That's ok for me.

I would have guessed more too, but I suppose it makes sense when you bear in mind we only lost one game all year and had a good lead at Christmas.

Kloppage time does have more of a ring to it than Fergie time.

He started 13 last year - played in 24
6 goals, 3 assists

He deffo has more of a part than just warming the bench if he gets back match fit

Don't disrespect shaq, those two goals against Utd, plus that massive assist v Barca.

He can stay for life imo smile

Palace tomorrow, bit of a bogey team/ground or atleast it feels like it, I haven't looked at the recent history.

Another one where my gut says we'll concede atleast one but should have enough, Kloppage time might be needed. VVD being fit is a massive bonus, Gini full of confidence off the back of his hat trick too.

Won there consistently in recent years - last lost at their ground in 2015. No games are easy but we must win.

I think the 3:3 has skewed my perception.

Seems it's our home record. 3 defeats in a row. They must be the only ones who've done that recently.
