I seem to recall them stuffing us in a Cup Final.
They weren’t great that season though were they ?They were poor compared to the 2 previous seasons ,and last season and this season look like an ageing team ,modric is not the player he was .
I’d have city as strong favourites in that game.

Taking away the rabble rousing of the trollish contents of his post, I was having a conversation at work last week about fan behaviour and major sporting events.
My colleague is an Oxford Utd man, (I work near Victor's gaff) and he has season tickets with his (now grown up) son and various members of family. We were talking about the taking of kids to match, wives, and in his case his mum and dad. Talking about the nets up between away and home fans, the amount of those just next to the nets who never watch the match - just stand staring and shouting at the opposition fans for the abuse.
I was also talking with a cpl of my Italian colleagues, who have previously gone to watch Roman, Juve, Milan when they were home and the hell of being anywhere near the Ultras.
We then compared to rugby matches and Silverstone, esp when a home drive is on top, from Mansellmania to JB and Lewis now and also Monza again with my Italian colleagues. I haven't got any Germans or Spanish at work currently, but I have lived in Munich for a few years. I was there for the World Cup win and still vividly remember being drunk with 100,000 German fans down Ludwigstrasse, traffic stopped...but no violence and everything cleaned up by 9am and folks going back to work normally!
As an open question...what do we all think with regards to fan behaviour now, as opposed to "back in the day", for which pick your timeframe.
In England/UK or abroad? I've just found this delightful piece via a swift Google:My colleague is an Oxford Utd man, (I work near Victor's gaff) and he has season tickets with his (now grown up) son and various members of family. "The ultras of Egyptian Premier League side Al-Masry are some of the most feared in Modern Football. After a 3-1 win over their rivals Al Ahly in 2012 a riot broke out in the stadium leaving 79 dead and over 1000 injured. Home fans stormed the pitch attacking away fans with bottles, knives, clubs, stones and fireworks. Al Ahly players ran away and their coach was punched and kicked by attackers. This attack was orchestrated as a banner was raised reading “We’re going to kill you all”. All remaining matches of the 2011-12 Egyptian Premier League season were cancelled after one of the most violent episodes in football history."
UK football violence pales, really.

The wrong Madrid. Still over two legs I fancy us.
This is probably the worst draw I think Liverpool could have got , think I’d rather of got the other Madrid tbh ,Athletico can be real spoilers at times.
We always tend to win it in the most difficult way possible so drawing a team like Atletico in the last 16 could be a good omen. If we can't beat them then we don't deserve to win it this year.
