All this talk of it being a poor league this year is bks.

Liverpool and City were well over 20 points clear last season.

Difference this time is that City can't keep pace with the best start ever made by us.

I think people are only saying this because the league is basically done & dusted before the FA cup starts for the big teams & its disappointing & dull for the millions of neutrals that want to see a title race .

Personally I think Liverpool were better to watch last season than this season .

Attack wise, the peak for me was 2 seasons ago when we high pressed constantly and Salah was smashing them in from everywhere... proper 'heavy metal football'.

Our defense at the time was laughable! though.

I think we are very similar in style to last year, defensively disciplined, creating a lot of chances though and still miss a ton. I think the we have developed the mental side to our game; the never-say-die side. The 97 points last season might have deflated most other teams to start all over again but not this team. The hunger and desire should be celebrated. It is simply incredible.

The metronomic wins that we pick up should not be confused for having played better football last season. We are even better this season, even whilst it looks like we grind out wins mostly. It's what winners, even if it is probably boring most non-Liverpool fans.

Stronger bench than I thought but a full rest for Robertson (needed and deserved).

So City smash Fulham 4-0 and Utd currently 6-0 up. We're going to lose aren't we! hehe

For me it was the Suarez / Sterling / Sturridge season attacking wise

Much better balance and game control and tactics under Klopp

Agree, but I was thinking of the Klopp era.

That team with Suarez, Sterling, Sturbridge, Coutinho and Gerrard was just fabulous to watch in attack.

Great save by Adrian.

Worth every penny of his transfer fee.

Yeah I'm sure that is the reason I've seen Gini try it on many occasions?! Very rarely as effective as that though.
