If you want to mess around with stats then you could argue Gomez is the difference this season - we were letting in something like 1 goal a game, then he comes back into the squad and it's 9 clean sheets from 10 games, or something like that? So Gomez is the hero, not Allison? (Just as devil's advocate - in reality it is a team game and most of the players are decent, but probably better together than they would be in any other team).

I simply said having Alisson in net has given us a points advantage over Mignolet/karius who used to make unforced errors that cost us games. Now we have a keeper that doesn't and who actually wins us games with his important saves. (point turnaround).
And you're right they would have, some still would now as they cant accept certain players are a lot better than they give them credit for but thats football fans in general.

Yeap. Or put it another way (if he alone is worth 20 points) - do you think Alisson would be doing what his stats are now, if he had Lovren and Moreno in defence? Until this season supporters of any top Premier league side would have turned their nose up at half our first 11.
Karius (despite the obvious problems) kept at least 8 clean sheets in 12 games with VvD ahead of him. If it was 20 points that means all the games he let 1 or more goals in we would lose (and even then it is only 18 points). This is not to say Alisson is not an improvement, just it is a team sport. If all the players are as good as you make out we'd be on for a record breaking points haul this season... oh!

Has Alisson pulled off faves in favour of the striker in games we were drawing or winning by 1?

I picked it up because of the tone of your post and because we are so amazing there is nothing else to argue about.
