Don't contribute a lot to this thread but the importance of Allison is not just linked to the amount he saves, the confidence he builds in his back 4 and they in him but the other thing is that I think his success is getting into the opposition players head. By this I mean that when given a chance they attacker thinks he needs something special to beat Allison because of his current reputation and instead of naturally taken the chance tries to make sure and fluffs the chance. Lots of recent chances have seen players snatch at shots or try and play someone else in and the chance goes begging. Schmeichel was the best at this.
