Have to say, there is so much to admire about Madrid. Just not tonight.

We seemed to do the usual casual style to start with, which is not surprising after winning so many games at a stroll. The goal has really woken us up, not seen us this up for a game in a while.

It's almost like he's been told to do something different. So many diagonal backpasses, when he'd normally be swinging the ball into the box.

Can’t help but feel we could really do with an away goal against this defense. They’d be happy to put 11 men behind the ball and defend for the full 90 at Anfield.

Got to be honest I feel the same.

All i care about this year is winning the league. That said, they are beginning to get very annoying.

Plus I think we'll beat them easily at home. And I am normally a pessimist.
