He was taking the piss out of the diver though, wasn't he. That was a Neymar special, the guy tried pulling. Then got up, fine. Kinda hoping Babel's antics catch on, diving would disappear in no time hehe
He was.

I agree, I've thought for a long time, if other players took the piss like this, the divers and play-actors would get ashamed pretty quickly and hopefully stop all the rolling around.
Surprised he wasn't booked for simulation..
You should've seen the game, Getafe have made a name for themselves this season, rarely seen a team so fully commited in the "noble" art of sthousery. Most yellow cards in Europe as well.

And it worked again, the ref. fell for it and it all took Ajax out of the game completely.

The ball was in play for just 42 minutes & 36 seconds during Getafe - Ajax, the second-shortest amount of time in a Europa League game (since 2009).

Meh - there's going to be loads of stories about Man City players moving away in the summer but most of them will be bks. Lets wait and see who actually moves. There was an article about Bernardo Silva last week just after the story broke about how he wished to go back to Benfica, but he came out and said it was all a load of BS.

2 facts:

1. Man City are nearer 11th than 1st

2. We have qualified for next seasons Champions League and everyone else is not mathematically safe frrom relegation.

And its not even the end of February.

3. Liverpool isn't winning many games with high scorelines.

4. Spurs, Chelsea and United are all in some form of transition and underperform.

Loris Karius set to return to Liverpool this summer. Besiktas don’t intend to trigger their option to buy him after the end of his loan and the keeper is targeting a new challenge after a turbulent spell in Turkey #LFC

I'm sure he'll grab his new challenge with both hands. And then drop it of course.

Getting both hands on it would be a marked improvement.

Oh dear... Somehow I doubt he's going to be sticking around as back up to Allison. Hopefully he can do a new "me in LA looking fit" vid and get a club that appreciates how great and misunderstood he is.

Back to up Adrian?

I've not seen much of him in Turkey but the buy-in clause wasn't huge and Besiktas apparently don't see it as value. This suggests he's not improved, but I'm just speculating. His contract expires in 2021. I guess we could be paying his wages for a year......
