3. Liverpool isn't winning many games with high scorelines.
4. Spurs, Chelsea and United are all in some form of transition and underperform.
Thought I'd have a look at this 4. Spurs, Chelsea and United are all in some form of transition and underperform.
We have won 13 games by 2 or more
City have won 12
City have won 7 games by 3 or more
We have won 6
It's the same as VAR - desperation trying to find any reason that we're "lucky" and don't deserve to be where we are now. In some ways I agree - it kinda feels like luck a lot of the games when we win by 1 late goal. But when it is so many games it is statistically very unlikely that it is down to luck, and comes down to something we are doing. So even if you watch 1 game and we don't look like we won by a big margin it shows the combination of a great defence with lots of clean sheets and having at least 1 goal a game = a consistent set of results that is not just luck.
It's also interesting to see this thread is generally very peaceful/positive these days, whereas the thread of peace and harmony is having cracks appear. Just shows that it's just related to the football/expectations, rather than any club fans. During the good times everyone will be happy and nice. During the bad times then it becomes a lot more messy. Nothing to do with one club or the other.

Moyes has managed a side 15 times at Anfield so far in his career - and hasn't won any of them.
Let's make it 16.
Speaking of Moyes - I had the Arsenal Everton game on in the background yesterday. I thought it was just us that they have a terrible record against, but apparently they are winless against the top six dating back to 2003 (might have been 2008)!Let's make it 16.
