Dont think he looked too hot against Chelsea.
Not sure he has the pace needed.

Can excuse lack of defensive awareness.
Trent is not fast

He was not poor just wasnt as good as he has been, his other games he has been pretty much our MOTM

Trent may not be fast, but he is fast enough and faster than Williams.

He's obviously going to be a decent enough player but doubt he will make it here.

Personally I dont see enough in Jones either.

Hope I'm wrong about both.

Me too, he is a lovely bloke and a good manager at the right club, just a bit out of his depth with us

I agree with you.

Curtis I think has looked good, he could well be another on par with Henderson. I've not really been that impressed with Williams though, I can see him going the same way as Ibe - promising youth, but not quite reaching the levels we need.

However I'd say Elliott has impressed every time he's played. I'd be happy for him to be included in the squad from next season and get some sub appearances.

All opinions of course but i see more along my way of thinking with Williams. Reading fan forums quotes on him by ex players, managers and current managers all believe he has the quality

Jurgen Klopp: “Neco Williams had a super game tonight, we have a full-back coming and that helps us in the future."

described by Steven Gerrard as being "magnificent"

Giggs ready wants him to join with the national team

Giggs said: "We are looking at Neco because he is playing for a brilliant team at the moment and he has done really well when he has stepped up.

"When a player makes a few appearances in such a big club like Liverpool, he is suddenly catapulted into the public eye. He is a fantastic player, still young and still learning, but the energy and quality he has shown when he has stepped up into the first team has been really good, so it's exciting."

Carra
'But I do think Neco Williams, with the way he has played, you wouldn't think about going into the market to buy anyone'

Jones is one who will get more and more game te each year

None of them are going to come and say, "Yea, great youth player, but will probably be sold to Bournemouth in two years".

Stating the obvious

But i dont see similar reports on other youth players (bar the 3 mentioned) that have also had similar game time.

Alisson definitely ruled out v Atletico and unlikely to be fit for the Merseyside derby at Goodison. Klopp says he will definitely be back after the international break if not before. #LFC

Largely due to age. The raw materials are better than Williams from what I can see.
Totally diff players but Williams has st loads of potential, he hasn't looked out of place at RB
A winger different to a RB? Well I never laugh

I've seen both play at 16 years old. Elliot is ahead of where Williams was at that stage.

Worrying. Especially as we desperately will need a clean sheet against Atletico.

Adrian is more than capable of keeping clean sheets. And indeed, has done so. I for one thought the press criticism of him at Chelsea unwarranted. 1 mistake that led to a goal - after Fab had basically put our whole defence in danger. Especially after Adrian had saved us immediately before with a world class save from Willian.

It is not so much in having no confidence in Adrian than needing your No.1 in what is surely our biggest game of the season?

I am really nervous about the game against Atletico on Weds. Barca game doesn't mean anything at this moment in time.

We need to win tomorrow.
Not doing do would be awful.

We can worry about Tuesday on Tuesday
