Everton looked like s different team yesterday .

The players looked extremely energetic & snapping into tackles & giving my lot no time or space , Big Dunc knows what the fans want , Would be nice to see him get the job till the end of the season at least .

I am thinking it may be game by game unless they have lined up someone, just hope it’s not Moyes.

Sky Sports reporting Everton have approached Emery banghead

Someone needs to have a word with Moshiri, the bloke was clueless at Arsenal, what makes him think he'd be right for us?

You have to be kidding, he has spent all season on the Arsenal touchline looking like a lost boy

Have any of you lot watched Howard’s Way yet? It’s soppy and daft and all that stuff but it hits all the right notes if you know yer history!

I decided to watch it again tonight, after our performance on Saturday had somehow rekindled my interest. Watching it left me feeling that we really have lost our identity, we seem to be aspiring to match the elite clubs on their terms when we no longer have the resources. I’d rather see us plough our own furrow, give me Big Dunc over any of the managers linked.

That said, he may not want it and he may just be too nice for us. I remember my old man saying the same when Kendall took over, he loved him as a player and feared for him as our new manager. I’d like to see us trying to find the Everton way.

The talk is now Viktor Pereria in time for Sunday, the guy is earning 25 m a year so to prize him away from China how much will offer, after all he as no PL experience, hope this is not a waste of more money.

I have a funny feeling he's going to be Silva mk 2. I'd let Big Dunc carry on rolling for the rest of the month to get the fans back behind the club, if he does really well then leave Pereira hanging until the summer. I don't think they'll be a rush to get him to be honest

I am of the same mind let’s leave Big Man in charge on a match by match and rush in to anything.

I also cant see why we want to rush into another foreign manager who would be on a massive salary , it seems our director cant get rid/waist of his money quick enough, leave big dunc in cant see what we have to loose , he will get us enough points to stay up and i think hes the man to be in charge when we play that lot over the park again in the cup , they will be hoping we dont play like we did against Chelsea with big Dunc raging up and down the touch line, biggrinbiggrin

Looks like Pereira is out, I think I we dodged a bullet there.

I'm up for giving Big Dunc a few games to see how he gets on, but I think the board need to be lining someone up in case it doesn't work out

We can get the Big Man to re-register and play up front and give VVD a bladdering.

On a serious note, glad Pereira as backed out, why the rush, solider on this season, then see

According to Sky Ancelotti is on the list, another failure

Not done very well at Napoli and is looking to get sacked, also do you really think he would build long term .

He's won over 20 titles and cups as a manager, and has averaged over 1.8 points a game with Napoli. Now compared that to the no Mark's we've been linkled to that have won the league in outer mongoli.

On name alone he would have massive pull for future signings.

There's a lot more to it than that at Napoli, he would be a massive signing If you got him
