Absolute classic Everton, get the win when the pressure is practically off. I love our club.
They’re really doing my head in, when you look at the table and consider our home performances against two of the relegated teams it’s hard to understand what motivates our players. The opportunity has been there for most of the season but they switch off, then on, then off again. Blue62 said:

True... It's hard not to think they either don't particularly give a fk, or they are so enamoured by their own ability, they turn off when 'crap teams' turn up.It's enfuriating. Big summer ahead of Carlos.
In other news, this is lovely.

I think there are pros and cons to it. It starts very early (Aug), and I'm guessing there will be away legs to the arse end of nowhere in Eastern Europe which won't be great for the players recovery. Also I don't believe we have a big enough squad for it, we've had 2 keepers and a bunch of kids on the bench quite often this season.
I'd be quite happy if we missed out on it tbh.
The only pro is it might enable us to attract a player who wouldn't consider us without it. But I'm not sure we'd want someone that doesn't want to play for the club and Carlo without being in some 3rd choice European competition

All a bit raw just now but I really can’t see where we are going with this group of players, I could take the kicks if I felt we were improving but we just seem to be a very mediocre mid table side with no clear ambition on the pitch. Feel sorry for Leicester, all those nasty ESL clubs occupy the top four, shameful.
