He always had a pretty stout plan a, but no plan b to fall back on of things went wrong. More often than not his football was negative as well, and he made a fair few howlers when buying players. For every Cahill there was a Rodrigo and Shandy Van Der Meyder!
That and he kept sayi g he was going g to sign a new contract then popping round Fergie's house agreeing to take over for United so we didnt get a pay out.

I don't think many minded when he went, despite his obvious achievements the football was pretty negative most of the time and I reckon most felt the relationship had run its course. The only thing that upset blues were his comments about players looking to improve themselves when he tried to sign Baines and Coleman, he did take Fellaini but I guess that is all part of the game. I like the bloke but would not want him back purely on the basis that he hasn't done anything of note since he left and don't believe that he is the answer to our problems.Blue62 said:
