I read earlier talks have been positive between Everton and Ancelotti. I really hope Ferguson stayed on as his number 2, he could learn a lot from Ancelotti and be ready made to take over in a few years. That and Ancelotti apparently is a little soft when it comes to training, so Duncan taking training would be a good mix for the team

I did not think Ancelotti would give us the time of day, I could be wrong. Was not a great fan of him but if it means the Big Man stays at no 2 which gives us stability and in turn gives Duncan valuable experience.

I will not be holding my breath boys, at the moment the two names being reported are Ancelotti and Moyes, quite a strange short list if true. I maintain that I’d like to see Dunc given a run but understand why others would disagree, failing that my choice would be Rafa, but no idea if he’s within our grasp.

I have a feels no it will be Moyes, in which case I will focus on my second team, Aberdeen.

That bloke on Talksport (Behague) stated tonight that Ancelotti is on holiday in Rome and nowhere near joining us! If it does happen I think it’s a proper step up.
