We’re at the point were we just need to pick up points. We can’t rely on others to save us. We need 3 points at the City Ground tomorrow.
Agreed. We certainly cant afford to lose. Dyche non committed on DCL, does this mean hes fit but not match fit? Or deemed not to 'work hard enough for the team' Last thing we want is a reoccurrence of the injury, but if the scans clear...Any chance of this being a low points season to stay up? Or is it shaping the opposite way, with so many in the mix. Quick scan of the fixtures and I cant see many (any?) teams getting 5 wins plus a couple of draws

I’m not expecting to see DCL tomorrow but surely by Brentford!?!Any chance of this being a low points season to stay up? Or is it shaping the opposite way, with so many in the mix. Quick scan of the fixtures and I cant see many (any?) teams getting 5 wins plus a couple of draws
I had a go on 1 of those league prediction sites and I came up with us going down on 33 points, a point behind Leeds and Forest. That included a point tomorrow. Don’t think it will be high points to survive this season.
Possibly of interest / use: Spread betting on PL points totals.

They think we wont get 35 points, and will finish 3rd bottom. (Leeds 4th bottom, wont get 36). So they are setting the survival bar at 35
Tight at the top too according to them (I agree)
BlueBoyzNetwork (Mike) on YouTube saying he'd be happy with a point, providing we beat Brentford at home. Think I'd be happier with the points coming the other way round, or - ideally - banging in 6 pts because of the following fixtures.

Burnley supporter here.
Dyche was notorious when he was with us for saying ‘a few weeks off’ which in reality meant months….
I’m curiously to see if he can sort you out.
Thanks for the post 12TS. We shall see on that but even if he does play he will likely be missing again for months. Pity really. Dyche was notorious when he was with us for saying ‘a few weeks off’ which in reality meant months….

I’ve accepted going down this year. Never thought I’d ever do that. But now I’ve accepted it I hope the team can somehow find enough points to stay up!

Is he pulling the wool over the media's (and our) eyes and he will come off the bench? said:

That would mean getting a win instead of a draw tomorrow would keep us up and relegate Forest Linky? Let's see what we all get
Hope this works! https://thefishy.co.uk/calculator0.php?competition...
The prediction link is in that site if it doesn’t load. Pick the result (not the score) and then calculate the table at the end.

I've got us in 12th on 41pts, but that may have been by selecting wins for us because we have to win, rather than because I think we will. I'll have another go later, it was long-winded because I selected to choose everyone's results from palace down...
And Forest staying up on 32, Southampton finishing 3rd bottom on 29. I may have done the opposite to our rivals Although as said earlier, I can't see many teams getting loads of points
{{So selection bias probably ruins it, I can't be impartial it seems}}

Unless we sack Rodgers we are not getting 39 points, why is he so vastly overrated by the media and other fans? He must have friends in very high places as well as being able to spin the poor me narrative constantly. https://mobile.sportingindex.com/markets/4855dfa3c...
