Discussion
We needed that win yesterday it's been awhile since I've seen our fanbase go so toxic.
CA's comments in post match were interesting. Acknowledged that we burnt out after 60 mins and that he's planning for the future.
Hoping that his positive attitude is starting to rub off on the players.

Bernard is a curious one, looks like Carlo has given him licence to roam at home games and his work rate is good, bags of talent and creates chances. I really like him and hope that Carlo gives him a run of games to get him match sharp.
I wonder who will go this window?
There are a few me thinks I wonder who will go this window?
Haven't we submitted an additional month which is to do with player contracts which has made the accounts look (slightly) worse? We've also got a couple of players contracts expiring in June which will help for next year.
I also read that Palace are paying Tosun's £100k a week, which is what Mane gets for fks sake! They also have a £20m option to buy him, so I hope he does well for them!
Recruitment has been shocking the last few years, hopefully that will improve going forward. Brands has been better than Walsh, and hopefully him and Carlo can spend Usmanov's money wisely

I understand Palace also had to put £1m down so all in all a decent deal for us, but as you say, his wages are ridiculous. I guess it reflects the fact that he was a panic signing, though he seems a decent fella he has hardly justified the investment.
Reading about the AGM there are a few interesting points, the loss is a paper loss, we are amortising the value of players, so it’s not cash leaving the club and our debt is historically low. Moshiri has invested £350m and Usmanov’s involvement is becoming more obvious, I’d expect his influence to grow.
Odd comments from Kenwright about Silva, somewhat ambiguous, but it sounds as though they had a replacement lined up but it fell through, so Silva was left hanging until Duncan agreed to become interim. That’s my take anyway.

I haven't seen anything about that, is there a link to more info?Fast Bug said:

From the EchoKenwright: “We had a bad day at Finch Farm and we had to say goodbye to Marco. We had a plan. We had the next plan in place and it didn’t work. We had several other plans. We walked into the lounge area. This man (Dunc) would probably live in Finch Farm if his missus allowed. ‘Come here and tell Farhad what you’d do if you were in charge on Saturday’.”
I wonder if that was Moyes? I read a few places reporting that 3 times he was told the job was his, and it never happened. Kenwright overruled by Brands and Moshiri?
Interesting piece on transfers by Brands at the AGM

Both Martina and Niasse are out of contract in the summer, I wonder if they're trying to cut their losses and get shot of them this window for a nominal fee? We're slowly getting rid of some the deadwood, I just think we're still short in a few key areas unless we get a couple of decent players in this window.

Could be, I haven’t heard the 3 times tale, if true it’s shameful behaviour and may point to the issue between Moshiri and Bill, I think Bill should go now. I wondered if it was Emery?Gassing Station | Football | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
