Makes a change to nick a win after being behind.

Form has definitely improved since Carlo's arrival. If we just looked at the league since he arrived we'd be second. Shame about the games before then laugh

Gomez could be in up selection for the Manure game I have heard, if it’s true it’s great news

No way would we win after going 2 down under silva. Showing some signs of inconsistent improvement but its improvement.

Delph for all the wrong reasons again. Not sure about him now.

Bonus because it was Watford.

3 points off 5th and further away from a relegation place than we've been all season.

Coyb.

Been a while since I enjoyed watching an Everton game (as a neutral). Good fight back although I thought Watford were unlucky to lose.

Looks like CA effect starting to bear fruit and you look more organised. Thought Delph was unlucky on the second yellow, he got the ball and very little of the man.

What’s with the anti Watford vibe? Because Silva used to manage them?

I think the Ill feeling comes more from Watford fans, goes right back to the FA Cup final in 1984 and there’s just been low level animosity ever since.

I thought we were really poor and lucky, but the ref was awful, as a general comment I think the standard of refereeing in a lot of games is getting worse. I don’t rate Delph, he was at fault for their second goal and he is generally ineffective, but there’s no way it was a red. From there our win was schadenfreude, even the pass/miss from Kean. We have to improve and hopefully Carlo will make some changes now that we are looking safe.

Indeed, even stranger how some seemingly have no interest in talking about the game but simply want to wind up with childish taunts. I imagine they have been victims of serious childhood bullying, you can only feel pity.

You are right of course Hilly. Can you believe we are 3 points off 5th place? Given how utterly poor we have been this term I can’t get my head around it. Maybe it highlights just how poor the league is, big gulf from the top two so anything is possible now.

So pleased we didn’t get Moyes, looking at WHU’s upcoming games I think they are in trouble.

Really happy a few more wins for safety, then Carlo can experiment and find what and who goes where then sort what’s needed for the close season. Just glad we did not spend a penny in the window, as said zcarlo knows what he is doing

I will be there and wouldn’t dream of giving my seat away. You’ve won the league Sye, the Goodison game may be where you collect and fair play if you do, best team by miles.

Some of it is historical banter about the 84 Cup, but more recently petty stuff about Silva. Remember the plastic snakes? Lol.

The main one for me is they come out to Z Cars and for some reason that really winds me up. I am simple.

Anyways.. When do we think Gomes will be back? Seen he is training with the first team now! Amazing recovery.

As a Watford fan I would just like to say Andy Gray fouled Steve Sherwood :-)

I'm gutted we threw away a 2 goal lead. I was a little surprised to see how bad (my opinion) Delph was. Also after 18 months on Merseyside, glad to see you haven't corrected Richarlisons balance problem, slightest of touches and that fella hits the deck.

The club were saying they hope he will be in contention for the Utd game.
