Feel positive about the game tonight so predicting that spuds will have a point to prove after their last game and we'll lose 2-0
I'll be happy with a point tbh.
Expecting them to kick fk out of son if he plays so expect #prayforson on Twitter later. Gomes looks lost the last couple of games so will be interested to see if he plays tonight.
Up the toffees!

Rubbish match.
Season should have been canned when lac secured the points.
Quite a few of my blue mates are getting agitated but I really don’t think we can judge any mid table team at the moment, it’s phoney footie. It would be different if we were in a relegation fight, but this doesn’t feel or look like football at the moment. Season should have been canned when lac secured the points.
I didn't miss football, but I am glad it's back now. I think many teams are just going through the motions though, more so than usual but I think it's understandable. I do wonder what the transfer window will be like, not just for us, but for other teams as well. I think there might be a few sensible transfer fees as clubs look to balance the books and trim wage bills down.

I can’t get excited or too bothered about this charade, but VAR is a complete shambles. It didn’t affect the result of our meaningless fixture, but you have to feel for Villa. God how many more games , can we not finish it with the Duckworth Lewis

That’s pretty much the case, but doesn’t excuse the ineptitude of VAR.
VAR is not the issue, its the idiots who are manning it who dont want to over rule the man on the pitch - if that is the case tell the man on the pitch to watch the monitor if there is any bit of doubt..VAR could 100% work if it was used properly like this.

Agreed. Why a ref won't spend 2 minutes watching a monitor at the side of the pitch is beyond me, if we have the technology in place and VAR is forced upon us, at least bloody use it!VAR could 100% work if it was used properly like this.

If we went down the route of what I said I really dont get why anyone would have an issue with VAR (baring offside) Gassing Station | Football | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
