When I clean the reversing camera and then use reverse and its crystal clear instead of a blurry smudge.

In this hectic life with total connectivity and lots of running around I really enjoy leaving my phone at my desk and going to have a nice quiet poo.

The soft fluffiness of a new bath towel, never the same after the first machine wash.

A clean car. Not the actual cleaning it, but the finished product.

Mowing the grass in the summer. In this case both the doing and the result. I do it first thing on a Saturday morning so it's the point I feel the weekend has begun.

Don't use conditioner, and tumble dry, and they'll stay fluffy.

Today is Palindrome day 02/02/2020.

The last one was 11/11/1111 and the next will be 12/12/2121.

This pleases me smile

Indexing a bikes rear gears. So satisfying when they snick smoothly into place.

On a similar theme, dropping something into the kitchen bin when it is empty and knowing that it shouldn’t need emptied again for a few days.

I like the feel of fresh, clean socks after a long run & shower.

As the sole bin-emptier in the house (Mrs will not get involved at any cost), I am on board with this.

A nice cup of tea, in my favourite mug, after a busy day and I've sat down for what seems the first time in many hours. Heaven.

I prefer bath towels to be rough. Dressing gowns should be fluffy, not bath towels.

As to other small pleasures:

Wearing my homemade "Klaus Hergerscheimer - G Section" badge
Waitress service in Wetherspoons having beaten the queues by using the app.
Listening to the Apollo 13 flight director loop whilst falling asleep
Finding a new simple song that I can play on the piano (Yes, hello "Waltzing Matilda")
Shooting someone from 250 metres with a sniper rifle in Fortnite
