Shocked that Harry fluffed his header. This will end up a draw unless we take our chances.

Vital we get a win today and Sunday.

Whatever else happens, Jose needs to get Doherty off. He's having a Weston!!
Doherty seems to be great going forward, really gets into the right place so often. Then he crosses the ball....

Not just this game either - every game I see him in. His link up play is really good, but then it goes wrong.

We are going to find it really hard to hang on here.

Need a second goal soon.

I'm confident we'll see it out.

What a boring game.

Whilst I'm pleased for the cancelled goal, I hate VAR and also that sad interpretation of handball. Ball to hand shouldn't be handball.

Awful performance and we didn't really deserve the 3 points. After a few decent games, albeit against lessor opposition we've reverted right back to form. Sat too deep, couldn't keep the ball or get it out to our forwards effectively.

I know we have problems in defence but our midfield and forwards looked very strong on paper so I really don't understand why this has become our default play style. Is it Jose or are the players just not as good as we think?

We've witnessed history in the making tonight, gents.

Forget Liverpool losing five in a row at home for their first time in history. This is more important.

Spurs defended a one goal lead!!!!

The missus and I watching Doherty not give away a pen:

Can see Klopp gone very soon, once the natives get restless...

As soon as the Dele substitution happened, the mood of the team changed and we lost attacking intent. Whether Jose comes out and says "I never told the team to defend" or not, he can't deny that taking off Dele and and replacing him with Sissoko sets a tone for the remainder of the game.

Surprised there's not more of a kerfuffle about VAR though. I don't understand how it's a handball in our game and not a handball in the Liverpool-Chelsea game. Two almost identical incidents, two totally opposite decisions.

What I saw was a second half where all the energy had been taken out of the team - they looked knackered. Jose must have had a hard time deciding who to come off.

Son especially is a worry and I am not sure how he stayed on the pitch, he has been poor for weeks actually.

My worry is that as soon as the going gets tough, we revert to this kind of gameplay. Fulham are 18th and yet they played us off the park. On paper our team js much better, baring one or two usual suspects. We realky shouldn't be letting them dictate the game. Very bizzare.

sanchez must have lay awake all night thinking how he got away with that shocking clearance. embarrasing, even sunday league players dont do that.

lloris looked more comfortable/confident last night, thats a big plus

Game should have been over by half time. Can't always be the defence's fault when the attackers fail to stick their chances away.

Kane and Son are having their usual in-season dip, no biggie.
Dele is looking back to near his old self. Hungry for the ball and making intelligent late runs in to the box. He really needs to be starting every game now.

Shame there is no one to pick his runs with a pass....

A win is a win at this stage.

It's frustrating that we can never play our best 11 with any sort of regulatory, either due to injury, fatigue or rest. I think this is why there are so many disjointed performances and the whole league has been such a poor standard. Hardly a surprise that Citeh win every game when they have spent eleventy billion on their squad and their second string is so much better than everyone else's.
