Absolutely terrible football. The game has moved on since Mourinho was successful, it’s much more about flowing attacking play now, not sideways and backwards grind them down rubbish. The successful teams are always on the front foot looking to get the ball back high up the pitch and always trying to attack.

I'm not sure it's just a case of the game moving on and leaving Mourinho behind. I don't remember his Porto or Chelsea (first time around) sides being this bad. I genuinely think he's regressed.

I genuinely think he's past the point of caring and now just wants to make a living moving from club to club trading on his past glories.

They were very workmanlike and their approach was to grind teams down. Once in a while they played with some flair, it it was very rare. However, back then it was very effective, as it was new. They set out to nullify opponents and then try to nick a couple of goals and immediately shut up shop again.

Sorry but with all due respect that is utter bks.His first season at Chelsea - they won the title losing only 1 game all season, scored 72 conceeded 15 - that is not George Grahamesque "nullifying opponents" football.
I hate contemporary Maureen's football style as much as the next man and when we saw what he did at Utd very few Spurs fans were happy about him coming but let's not use our prejudices to rewrite history.

80th minute and no shots on target yet.

Look at our attacking lineup - what is going on?

To say this is woeful is is praising our performance too highly. Turgid is better.

So they scored a couple of goals per game on average and shut up shop so they conceded very few. Yep, that’s completely different to what I described.

Time to find some people who think Jose should be given longer and tease them a bit.

That was me at one point in time...getmecoat.

But that was a shameful performance... Bournemouth deserved a win. (I live in Bournemouth, but have no local bias in such games)

I humbly beg forgiveness.whistle

I am struggling to recall a worse performance,
Turgid is to high a praise.
Aurier - cannot cross a ball or defend
Davies- swansea standard and crud
W*nks- just crud negative backward thinking and avoids a challenge.
JV and TA are just passed their best now.
Ndombelly jesus he is ropey

In fact only Loris played his part today.

And VAR is Bo**ocks

JM should take his old ideas and be on his way before any more damage is caused.
