I'm not sure what else he could have done with the squad? What would you have done different?
I'd have probably made some vain attempt at actually trying to play football rather than lining up with 9 at the back and trying to hoof it to a midget. Also Parrott has to be worth 10 mins at the end of games like this. It really couldn't make us any worse.

Nope, we'll get turned over.
Good shout. Really don’t understand why Parrott hasn’t even had a sniff yet when we’re so st up front. 48k said:
Jose says he's too immature / not ready.* shrgs * When you're 2 - 0 down with 40 mins to go in a league game against the team immediately above you with two of your first choice strikers unavailable why not go st or bust and try the youngster?
Yep, bit frustrating TBH. Weirdly when the team sheet came up on screen before kickoff, Son was listed as playing. Was half expecting him to come on with a soft cast for a minute or two then they showed the correct team sheet. HRL said:

PGMOL now admitting the Lo Celso incident should have been a red card.
Who knew - humans looking at a VAR replay are fallible?
If var is going to get things wrong, you may as well scrap it and have the ref get things wrong. Who knew - humans looking at a VAR replay are fallible?

I'm hoping this is a watershed moment for VAR. All those "it doesn't matter how long the game stops for as long as the right decision is arrived at " VAR apologists will hopefully realise after all that it's still just humans looking at a tv screen.
Might as well scrap the league this year/reset all points to 0 and start again. Only way forward tbhlemmingjames said:
