Watford deserved it. They played better than us, and created a lot more chances/took them too. So well done to them, and hope they get the credit they deserve rather than just "Liverpool lost and played badly". We got lucky last game. This week we didn't.

I never once believed they'd make it through the whole season unbeaten tbh. They've looked very unconvincing and been very lucky to get the result in at least 4-5 games I've seen them in. In fact I still believe they were actually playing better football last year but just lost out by the closest margin to an awesome City team in full flight.

Baring a miracle or Corona virus intervention, they will still win the league of course as they've still been the most consistent team this season but I just don't think they have been as dominant as the points tally suggests.

Yeah tough one today. I've enjoyed watching Wolves this year, deffo team of the year for me for what they've done. Not sure I'm going to enjoy today so much.
I just checked and 11 of our 15 midfielders are available so let's go with:

Wanyama

Lamela - Dier - nDombele - Winks

Fernandes - Skipp- Bergwijn - Lo Celso

Alli - Moura

Plenty of tickets for sale on the exhange.
Went to City game last month and am going to West Ham in a few weeks - that's about as much as I can afford unfortunately.

no Sessegnon, crocked again...Lamela on the bench and not been training all week.

Wolves will sit with 5 in defence, wingbacks bombing forward as we've only got moura in attack. If Alli get get a killer ball through maybe, but Moura's no hold up player, needs to run in behind. Perhaps Bergwijn on a run?

I can't see this going well for us today

We'll have 11 in defence. At home.

Standard.

I really like wolves theyve been excellent this season. What will be quite amusing is seeing how both teams will manage to play on the break. Will be like the football equivalent of the chuckle brothers... To me....to you.

I said it about Man United last year & I'll say it about Spurs this season.

You could do a lot worse than go for Nuno Espirito Santo as manager. There's only really so far he can take Wolves, has to be worth a shout.

You think so? With multi-billionaire owners who back the manager and don’t interfere.

I really don’t think Nuno will leave Wolves unless it is for someone like, Real, Inter, AC, etc.

I'd have him at Utd on the basis of his beard alone.

What a piliferous, hirstute and splendid example of facial hair.

We could 'do a West Ham' and bring the old manager back biggrin

But the truth is, with no real striker it was going to be as easy as eating a pork chop with no dentures. But to give away more leads than an electrical store on Black Friday was just shameful. Defence needs to improve big time...

I was at the wonderful new Spudly stadium today & I know what set of footballers I’d rather have & they don’t play in white .

Jimenez & Jota are fabulous footballers .

Jimenez is the most under rated striker in the Premier League. He would walk into any team in the PL except maybe the top two.

Jota is fantastic, he's absolutely on fire right now but he rarely has a bad game. Nuno should come, and also bring those two plus Patricio, Doherty, Traore and a couple of others too.
