I thought that the SKY production was atrocious. Utterly obsessed with showing replays after every break in play, even if it means missing the live game after the restart. Which happened time after time yesterday.
I thought that too. And their highlights on YouTube completely miss the build up to Son's goal.TEKNOPUG said:

agreed they missed the build up to the first goalshowing us a picture of Pep.
I guess less camera staff in or a crap producer?
The Aurier vs Doherty thing. Aurier is actually pretty decent going forward and provides the width on the right we sometimes lack, however he is usually pretty woeful at defending and always seems to have a game losing mistake or two in him. However the last few games he has been solid and he was outstanding in the City game so for me, an Aurier who doesn't make mistakes is a decent player.
I'm not saying Doherty is a bad player but he's not shown anything to suggest he is outstanding either, especially when you compare him to Reggie on the other side, he looks positively bang average. I heard lots of good things about him before he came to us but so far he's been a bit disappointing if I'm honest and done nothing much to impress me. Seems reliable but unremarkable, like a Ben Davies on the right.

Doherty was cheap and home grown. He's probably on par with Aurier defensively, he's OK going forward and probably stronger than Aurier in the air.I'm not saying Doherty is a bad player but he's not shown anything to suggest he is outstanding either, especially when you compare him to Reggie on the other side, he looks positively bang average. He's a cheap, stop gap option.
Neither Poch or Jose fancied KWP, which is a shame as he seems to be doing well at Southampton. Guess they both like bigger players.
Last season when Aurier went forward, gentle Ben stayed back to defend. Now we have Reggie it is the opposite and Doc stays back. When Aurier and Reggie both start then they take it in turns and Sissoko covers for Aurier and PEH covers for everybody.
Doherty is doing fine. Assisted Kane for the winner the other week.

Omgzzz, top of the table... this is our year etc!
I think you lot will beat Chelsea pretty comfortably in your game against them. Certainly got a team that can challenge this season it looks like.
Not too sure. Chelsea always raise their game against Spurs. I think you lot will beat Chelsea pretty comfortably in your game against them. Certainly got a team that can challenge this season it looks like.
Plus "Spursy" is still alive and well!

He's also rumoured to be asking for a loan move in January so he can get game time ahead of the Euros.
It's a real shame about Toby and the setback for Tanganga, but based on the minutes from Rodon I'm not too concerned about having to play him.
Understandable from Winks. However 9 games in Dec will take it's toll and Mourinho certainly doesn't appear anit-Winks, for whatever reason. It's a real shame about Toby and the setback for Tanganga, but based on the minutes from Rodon I'm not too concerned about having to play him.
Time for Levy to work his magic and bring us Skinniar or whoever in the Jan window and resolve the Alli situation
What's the setback with Tanganga? Can't see anything in the news.
Rodon can't play in the Euro's so we are stuck with Sanchez, Dier and Davies as CB options, only Dier out of those 3 fills me with any confidence and I never thought I'd say that. Rodon is also unproven so he'll either have to be thrown in at the deep end against Chelsea which isn't ideal or again we go with Sanchez or Davies.
Starting to rue getting rid of Verts now tbh. I know he was starting to be off the pace a bit but I'd still have him ahead of the other two options any day.
