If he wants a move he will hand in a request, word will spread and it becomes a matter of time and money.
I'm pretty sure his agent will just tell interested clubs. Also when you hand in a transfer request, your name gets added to a "list" of players who are available for transfer. It called the "Transfer List" and clubs can read it and see which players are available. Turns out just waiting for word to spread around football clubs isn't the most efficient way to communicate.

Where has all this talk of Hallaand being a £150m player come from? I've watched him a few times for both Dortmund and Norway and sorry but I don't see a £150m. Sure he has a lot of potential but to me he is still a largely unproven player. His team are currently 5th in a two team league and he hasn't exactly been on fire for Norway.
Let him come to the PL and stick 25-30 goals away for a couple of seasons, then we can start talking about £150m valuations.
I think it's that he has £130ish buyout clause and is currently tearing it up on the continentLet him come to the PL and stick 25-30 goals away for a couple of seasons, then we can start talking about £150m valuations.
Agree Kane is much much more proven but when you get to that level of spend do you go for Kane for 3 years and hope his ankle holds up or go for the guy that's potentially the next Mbappe, Neymar level of player

Yes yes - I mean more that player starts leveraging for a move, speaking out in the press, putting in average performances etc
Unfortunately players hold most of the cards these days, them and some of their scum bag agents

That's worked well previously with Levy....Unfortunately players hold most of the cards these days, then and some of their scum bag agents
Kane has another year to go I think before he can exert any leverage.

That's quite a few of your established first team players that need to be replaced over the next few seasons.
We had the same problem under Poch, in our last season at WHL. Liverpool have the same problem too, particularly with the front three. There's no obvious succession plan. Fittster will be along shortly to bang the "director of football" drum. ddom said:

The solution is money Just taking Leicester as an example - Castagne, Justin, Maddison/Tielemans - 3-4 players brought in over the last few seasons in positions we needed filling and still do (Reguillon excepted). Just better scouting or confidence in their coaching system and that they have what it takes to improve.
Am minded Rodon fits into that category - will be interesting to see how he evolves under the current structure.
Kane has been moving every summer for the last 5 years I can't ever remember a player the press and fans of other teams seem so keen to move on.
Amazing since he's finished / inquiry prone / one dimensional / overrated.
That said I actually wouldn't blame him for leaving now he deserves better than our current manager.

Interesting spat Jose v Ole and feeding children
Hardly a spat. OGS was right and just answered a question we all asked. Son embarrassed himself and looked stupid. 3mins on the floor for brushing his cheek with the hand. Your manager had to defend him of course but everyone saw what happened. The son incident was a catalogue of errors. Ridiculous to go down like that, ridiculous of utd player to raise his hand in the first place, ridiculous of the ref to look at it and decide to rule out the goal and ridiculous that once he decided it was a foul to then not book and send off the player. Ridiculous to single out son when rashford did the exact same thing (and the utd team has Fernandez in it) and of course ridiculous to subject son to the racial abuse as a result.
