But do they though? They scored the most goals in the Premier League last season - 83 - which was 10 more than the next highest goalscoring team. Aguero got 4 of those, and Jesus - their only remaining striker now - got 9.
70 goals were scored by midfielders and defenders. 18 of the 20 teams in the PL didn't even score 70 goals all season!
They're not short of goalscorers.

IS this putting pressure on Kane? he won't like not being involved...

Is it not more likely Kane doesn’t want to be cup-tied for Europe so is avoiding playing? Or does this trophy not count and he could still place in the CL in the chance he gets his move?

if they can get the guts of what they paid for Ndombele back, it would be worth doing. He is massively talented but you don't want him and Dele in the same squad ffs!

Put the cash into a top level central defender.

If Dele can keep up the improvement, then we are ok for midfield attacking options.

Unfortunately I doubt any team will pay even 40% of what we paid for Ndombele and certainly no team will be prepared to pay him anything like his current wage.

Jose tried and failed to make him a pet project, Mason didn't want anything to do with him. France called up Sissoko over him. Nuno hasn't even considered him at all.

We are stuck with an expensive paper weight.
