Has Origi gone full Djibril?

Liverpool: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson, Fabinho, Keita, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Mane, Salah, Origi.

The worst I can ever remember Robertson playing. Really needs to get his head back in the game.

I forgot we only play in one competition and started counting in 1992.
Why not go back to medieval times? 30 years is pushing it for the longest period of even possible relevance.

You’re on the top at the moment but are still miles behind Utd, Chelsea, Man City and evening Arsenal in terms of success.
We are literally the most successful club in the history of English football.

In terms of European success, no other English club even comes close.
That's one of the weakest attempts at trolling we've had yet.

Not many things in football can be pointed to as facts but the number of trophies you've got is categorically one of them.

It's been 17 years since Arsenal last won the title. They're more irrelevant than us for sure.
Wow, time flies all right... Then again I have Arsenal fan friends who still harp on like they're still a top top team so that probably clouded my memories hehe

For some reason I thought today's game was starting at 8. Luckily I just switched on the TV smile
Same here, just switched on. Doesn't look like I missed much though.

I think all our players will be kicking off at 8 too

A distinct feeling that we are just going through the motions.

Surprised Keita didn’t come off rather than Fab, he has been awful

Origi again fails to impress when he starts, does he think he is better than he really is and doesn’t have to give it all, or is he just not good enough?

Keita needs the minutes, maybe.

Origi - agree. Happens too often - he comes on, or starts, and just wanders around expecting a worldie to make itself. Think we've had the best of him. Wouldn't be sorry to see him move on.

Divock will always have cult status at Liverpool but break his game down and he simply isn't good enough. Keita too is average at best, certainly not a game changer or influencer. We do need to strengthen but probably unlikely to do so.

I wonder if Pepe wants to come back as backup to Allison...

Hmm. Pepe seems to be carrying a few pounds! Clearly frequents the same eating establishments as a certain Frank.

I'd love to see Pepe see out his career with us.

I think we need to see a better backup than Origi.

Keita I think deserves one more season with us. But I agree that he's not exactly delivered on his potential yet.

Must admit I didn't notice. He was never quite as athletic a build as Allison, for sure.. Quite a keeper, at his peak.

I mean he does not appear overweight by any means but seems to be carrying a slight belly. Which I guess for a goalkeeper not a huge issue but I would have thought diet is still essential as a pro footballer, even in the twilight of your career.
