Pep's next move will be very interesting. Not many clubs with unlimited budgets and/or the World's best players already there.

I wouldn't be surprised if Pep has a verbal agreement to go back to Barcleona in the summer with Xavi as an understudy. I mean, Koeman has conveniently signed a short term agreement there and is already under pressure.

No chance Pep goes back there with the current President still there (which is looking unlikely, but still).

I honestly assumed Pep would leave of his own volition, not get sacked particularly - didn't have a clue what was on his contract. But he seems the kinda guy that doesn't like to stay still for too long.

If Messi comes in Jan I can see he re signing for 2 years, if not his contract will run down... maybe Juve or Spain?

I think Messi to Man City is a done deal. I can't see him being persuaded to stay at Barcelona given what's gone on and it seems like there is only one place he's going to move on to.

Cant see there being any chance he goes there and Pep leaves then, So I would expect Pep to resign after Messi signs or just before

The Cert market is definitely shrinking for him.

So tonight,

I think he might be confident of a few changes?? anyone think we might see a front 3 change? Minamino Jota Shaq etc ?
Surprised Klopp has changed the front 3. Even if they are a relatively weak team.

Liverpool: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Fabinho, Robertson, Henderson, Milner, Shaqiri, Jota, Minamino, Origi.

Subs: Adrian, Kelleher, Wijnaldum, Firmino, Mane, Salah, Jones, R Williams, Cain, N Williams.

I'm not that team should easily be strong enough, this season is different with the amount of games squeezed in, so need to keep them fresh for tougher games

Given the number of subs he can use in the CL this season, it definitely makes sense to change players around. The 1st choice 3 are still on the bench. In theory he can still bring all 3 on, and others.

Of course, if we're 0-3 down after 20 minutes, he may rethink that logic. hehe

Called It.

Think I'd prefer it the other way round. Play our strongest team for the first half and ring the changes if we're winning.

I hope we don't see the usual suspects when we're panicking 60 minutes in.

What’s the point of making players sit miles apart on the subs bench? They train together, play together, travel together, are together at meal times... yet have to sit meters apart on the subs bench.

fking ridiculous.

Artificial crowd noise on BT Sport sounds a bit odd. Like a busy childrens playground.

Starting to think Minamino isn't good enough.

Hopefully that'll set him up for a hat trick now.
