I think you’re right.
At the moment Jota is doing everything Bobby can do but had that edge too, and is scoring important goals.
Some moderation is required though, Jota has just started and Firmino could get the edge back when he faces competition.
Having 4 now is great and what we were after for a while
Oh aye - not chucking Bobby out with the bathwater at all. He's a long way from "past it". Having 4 top options is great. At the moment Jota is doing everything Bobby can do but had that edge too, and is scoring important goals.

How did we concede 7 to Villa?
Both Villa and Everton losing back-to-back games, makes the league look a fair bit rosier.
They were excellent, we were crap, 3 deflected shots. Both Villa and Everton losing back-to-back games, makes the league look a fair bit rosier.
Strange table at the moment, City win their game in hand they go from 10th to 2nd, still it’s nice to be top

Can't believe people were actually talking about Utd being just one or two players away from a title shot. They'll be lucky to get top four this season IMO.
That's been the line trotted out for a few years now but they've bought big from back to front and not done anything with it.selym said:

It is the other way around, they have one or two players of a title winning team! At most
Fernandez is the only player that would get anywhere near our 1st team. Chris Stott said:
In that game, for sure, but he’s been the best player in their team since they bought him... and at least he looks like he cares, which is more than can be said for Pogba... who has to be the most overrated player in the Prem.
He is being asked to do too much (Fernandez) and can't be expected to achieve what he did last season. He does care though and is ideal for Captain but I think that'd be regarded as losing face by Ole. He needs a top class support and he doesn't have it, and I couldn't agree more about Pogba - Ole is now allowing him a higher role and he isn't bringing anything to the party. He must have something on the manager!selym said:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've never seen anyone post that on the Utd thread?

Quite a few of the pundits had them above us. I guess that's the difference between individuals on a team sheet and a cohesive team managed by a top manager. Gassing Station | Football | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
